thinking about tenna and spamton's whole situation in human terms puts it all into perspective to me it's making me go crazy man, it's like a mob boss telling tenna if spamton signs the contract he's gonna lose a finger or two, maybe a ear,,, maybe an acid bath,,,, and tenna's response to that being "....well, im sure we can work it out! we can compromise that! i'll be there for him so its okay!" all out of a promise of security, all out of his own all consuming fear of being thrown away, of being forgotten by the lightners, by his family, he'd let spamton get the short end of it if it meant.....OOOHHH GOD

it just makes me love tenna so much more, how he lets his fear consume him, how far he'd go, how he'd even throw spamton under the bus in a moment of desperation..... oohh.....

i really cannot process this right now.... tenna knew something- god knows what- would happen to spamton, personally,,, and he still went through with it.... he didnt care enough. making himself big, his fear of becoming obsolete, was more important than spamton's wellbeing...... you think that was what the benefactor told spamton on the phone call, that made him run away?
