* 𝚁𝙰𝙸𝙳𝙾 𝙸𝚂 𝙰 𝚁𝚄𝙽𝙴 𝚃𝙷𝙰𝚃 𝙼𝙴𝙰𝙽𝚂 𝙹𝙾𝚄𝚁𝙽𝙴𝚈, it represents adventure, overcoming a great challenge, and it also is a rune that means "riding" or "to ride."

𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄:  Fylgja. The name of her once valiant Palico. Accompanied her during her conquest against the Mighty Leshen. Picked apart by ravens and crows, she fought along-side the bloodshed with wounds too deep to heal from. As mighty as she was, with her mythic lion helm and golden spear, she succumbed to her wounds during the battle and fell. Never to walk again. Twas’ this mighty feline that struck the final blow, killing this beast with a final throw of their spear and fall into an eternal slumber. She was buried a top a mountain while thunder crashed and winds roared. A fitting burial for a beast who cried for war and battle.

𝐃𝐄𝐒𝐈𝐑𝐄: Skira. Valkyries handler, whom shepherded her like to the end, witnessing the killing and slaying of countless beasts under the shadow of Valk. A excellent cook, a woman well-versed and knowledgeable in all of her areas of expertise. However, during the Red King’s and Blue Empress’s march, she was not far enough to escape the storm of hell-fire and azure flames that blanketed the entire area. Scorching her skin and burning her eyes shut and mouth closed. She suffocated among the ash, fire, and dirt that formed a valley of death. Among the burned grass and crystals, she found her corpse and carried her still body home that day and buried her alongside her deceased Palico. 

𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒: Gullhyrndr. Kulve Taroth, the Golden Goddess is a beast she was successfully able to be-friend in a way. First, offerings of gold and molten rock to blanket her scales to become impenetrable Next, slaying of Nergigante and Lunastra and offering their meat as a gift to this golden beast. As the days rode up, she became friendly and more close. Valk would clean her scales, sharpen her horns, and polish her blanket of gold. This love for the beast, familial. As if she saw the beast as her mother and needed to protect her. And so, she did.

*  𝚁𝙰𝙸𝙽𝙵𝙰𝙻𝙻  𝙰𝙽𝙳  𝚃𝙷𝙴  𝙲𝙷𝙰𝚃𝚃𝙴𝚁𝙸𝙽𝙶  𝙾𝙵  𝙱𝙾𝙽𝙴𝚂. The curiosity of foxes, surrounding this fire that did not snuff so easily to the fall of water, a creation of her own doing and a desire to burn. A hand over the fire, no pain and no damage. An after-effect of tasting of the elixirs afforded to her by the wealthy bounty that invade and survive in these dangerous lands. 𝐓𝐇𝐄  𝐒𝐂𝐄𝐍𝐓  𝐎𝐅  𝐀𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑,  𝐃𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐒?  𝐀  𝐋𝐔𝐒𝐓. Her sword was close but she felt like this stranger was no threat, only the aura of one. Alliances deemed her unkind and cruel, but company in a burnt world, she welcomed it.

Valkyrie isn't interested in being your friend. Emotional commitment is for the weak and she needs no allies. She's the Apex of her time and requires no helping hand.

Survival, the journey meant as a test to herself and her fortitude. 5 days without food, she took the horse to the safest place of the new-world an set it free. Giving a final farewell to a mount that stood alongside her for many years. 

𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐄𝐃𝐎𝐌. Valkyrie, as an act to free herself from her past and her past grievances, led a conquest to take down Lunastra and Teostra with her bare hands. What lasted nearly a day, she eventually succeed. Bringing back with her the horns of the Blue Empress and the Red Monarch. Bruised, and sore. She walked home that day.
