Hampstead tube. London, October 2015.
We call it ‘market research’. You may call it ‘procrastination’. At the end of the day, I just read some great articles about James Bond.
The Format Editor is currently having a lot of fun laying out some pages for the magazine...
I think this highlights just how much we want your content to publish. For the magazine coming out after uni term starts in September, or for online on Facebook, issuu and more, we'll accept all your articles, rants, reviews, photographs and whatever else your creative student-type brains can produce.
Enquiries, submissions, comments on the political climate, prayers to Jesus, whatever you want to say you can contact us at [email protected]
Dangerous, high-altitude manouvres were performed to get the front page shot for our final ever issue. We're sad to be going but next year's team is moving onto better things. We've had a hoot making a newspaper this year and we hope the magazine will deliver just as much information and entertainment (but maybe we'll hold back on the controversy. Who knows?).
The closing articles have been written. The last of the editing is done. The crowning layout is in place. Now we're just trying to make our files and send off before InDesign decides to crash again. I've run out of synonyms for the end of the Lion. So, with the saddest of waves and warmest of well-wishes, the Lion team in charge of creating newspapers bids you adieu, so long, farewell. Pick up our final issue, Wednesday 6th. Goodbye.
Spend a good, long, mind-melting age of a time laying out the Christmas magazine so shout out to the managing editor for being awesome!
Y'all ready fOR THIS?!
Our spoils, ladies and gents. We woooonnnnnn!!!!!!
The Lion team is representing here at the Heythrop pub quiz. Yes, we're winning. Don't worry.
Freshers' Fair stall going swimmingly. No one’s getting any kind of drunk…

Remember that nice clean whiteboard we had? Well… when interesting things get planned we end up with this for you.
Sometimes we hug the monitor we leave on 24/7 because it’s warmer than this dingy basement.
P.S. Yup, editing the next issue ready for Freshers’… excited?
Had a super successful Lion meeting to discuss all the awesome things we want to do next year! Y'all in for a better newspaper experience. :)
We have an imposter that is proving difficult to remove.
Thanks, guys.
