It's been a very difficult winter for me. I don't know why, I don't have the strength to figure it out. because of this, reading comes in waves. sometimes I read a lot, sometimes I take long breaks. but I want to read every day. Are there people here who read regularly all their lives? How are you dealing with this? Do you read all the time, or do you have long breaks of a month or more?

Today I received Marcus Aurelius' book "Meditations" (but in Russian publishers translate as "alone with yourself"). It was recommended to me by the Internet when I asked where it was better to start studying Stoicism. So... I plan to read a little bit every morning over coffee.

i often wander around bookstores and replenish my list of book purchases. i rarely buy books in physical stores, because it's cheaper on the Internet.

I read this book about 4 years ago... and I've already forgotten everything! the book is all underlined and full of my old notes. now I'm paying attention to completely different words and thoughts.

this book was chosen in the book club (our modest book club with friends), if it wasn't for him, I would hardly have read it again…

The beginning has been made. Now, before going to bed, I read "life in ancient Rome" by Alberto Angelo.
