Kitchens Are Awesome

It's late but let me tell you about kitchens, and why they are great:

1. They are a place for food which, make no mistake, is allowing your continued existence

2. The kitchen can be a place of comfort, have you ever made a grilled cheese sandwich when you were sad, or instant ramen when you were sick

3. Feeding yourself is a good way to fill that sanity meter

4. I had an art teacher tell me that kitchens generally tend to be the creative center of a house, a place designed for making and consuming stuff is, no surprise, often a great place to make stuff

5. More personal than any formal dinning room thingy, the kitchen is ideal for congregating, gossiping, and bonding over snaks

6. After you make food they smell like a preview of heaven

7. they look so warm and welcoming (I just like the number 7)

In conclusion, please appreciate your kitchens, they have so much beauty and community behind them, take care of yourself and know that your kitchen wants you to eat well.
