Unbothered,Unanswered questions of the sky ignite curiosity. One can keep looking at it for days but every single time you find something highly equisitive. This palette has limited colours as i choose to show it’s mysterious nature
Fun and frolic are the suitable words to describe this composition.The Vibe of this composition is very Cool and full of fun, this unlike the other palettes has vibrant as well as subtle colours which again make the composition balanced as well having emphasis and colour contrast.
Ever been to a beach? Well this is what it looks like, one the alluring beaches in Goa which is quite sceneric. This composition is yet another depiction of the harmony in the nature. The grass creates an emphasis somehow breaking the monotony as well as giving it an earthy feeling which is very soothing. The well balanced colours in this picture are perfect for taking inspiration from nature.
Nature has a different feel for everybody. It may be Calming and refreshing but also it has some instinctive qualities. The background of this picture is aromatic and calming. The mythical aspect of this picture is creating an emphasis within the background which is somehow balancing as well harmonising the picture. The colours are named accordingly which give the essence of nature and refreshment.
FORM WITH BALANCE In this activity, we were supposed to work with the three dimensional shapes and explore the silhouette. This not helped us to achieve different forms but also further enhanced our understanding in terms of shape, size, form as well as placement.
GEOMETRIC SHAPES WITH SCALE AND PROPORTION
Tangram was used to explore geometric shapes which led to formation of three dimensional attributes. This activity helped us in building strong concepts and silhouette explorations
How can something used in Psychology be used in Fashion? Isn’t it amusing to relate these. Well definitely felt like it, Randomly putting paints on paper and folding them to reach at a organic yet a symmetric composition.
ORGANIC SHAPES WITH SCALE AND PROPORTION
LINES AND RHYTM
Class after class,the assignments started to connect with the course , not only we got familiar with the basics but also felt a part of this huge industry and what it takes to be a fashion designer. This activity focused on how to use linear materials to make a composition on dress form.
In this activity we were supposed to pick out different kinds of circular objects and make a composition out of them to make an motif. then that motif was taken a further step to be converted into a pattern. This assignment was not a boost to the Design class but also it showed how can one build unique motifs out of simple things.
This is were is which we were supposed to work on a silhouette, which was really intriguing which made it was a blissful experience to explore with Dots and repetition . Combining these two may have resulted in a monotony, but one must learn how to break in the monotony!
Both of these activities gave a clearer idea of how to manipulate simplistic things into unusual explorations
