is anyone elseās favourite part of harry potter the daily grind of hogwarts life? when iām watching the movies i always think theyāre missing something and i just realised itās the part of the book where theyāre like chilling in the common room doing homework and all the birthday & christmas presents they get each other every book and dinners in the great hall and stuff
The reason why Harry Potter is as popular and as important as it is, in my perception, is because of the world that JK Rowling created. Sure, the plot is captivating and there are many twists and turns but what really makes Harry Potter great is how Rowling was able to create an entire universe so well that we all feel like itās real and we all feel like we go there whenever we read HP. That is why I love those little parts in the books where theyāre just doing homework or having breakfast or not paying attention in class.
The familiar, mundane actions drag us into the magical world.
But thereās a story behind e v e r y t h i n g. How a picture got on a wall. How a scar got on your face. Sometimes the stories are simple, and sometimes they are h a r d and h e a r t b r e a k i n g. But behind all your stories is always your motherās story, because h e r s is where yours begins.

hi!! ik this is off topic but if youāre comfortable, i was wondering if you would mind elaborating on how jkr has been misconstrued? i understand that some people donāt like her/donāt want to support hp because they disagree with her views on trans people but youāve mentioned a couple times that sheās been misunderstood? i will be watching the show and spending money on hp regardless, as im pretty neutral on the whole thing, but would be curious to know more about what youāve referred to in the interest of having a more balanced narrative.

But to answer your question the reason why I personally believe and have said that she has been misconstrued is because she has. And it started with this tweet of hers:
Ever since she did this tweet it made the TRA activists and community so mad that they started to completely cancel her calling her transphobic and saying that she wants to kill trans people and this and this, along with so many other things and lies that they stated to spread about her which is so untrue. She has never been transphobic and has never wanted trans peopleās rights or lives to be taken away. Sheās only ever wanted Women and Childrenās rights to be heard and the flaws regarding the TRA activists and community to also be heard.

She even wrote an essay explaining more of her reason for doing what she is doing. Which you can clearly tell sheās not transphobic nor does she want to kill them and take away their rights.
But again they didnāt even bother to understand what she is trying to say and claim sheās a monster and Hitler himself which is not true. Most people have even admitted that they never read this essay and that they just looked online to see what other people have said and believe the TRA activists and community for saying she was being transphobic and wanting to kill them and take away their rights even more from this essay.
And because people are so chronically online that they believe everything on the internet and donāt have common sense and think for themselves, and because TRA activists and community have taken over the internet and people believe and agree with them, or their afraid to get hate so they side with them to avoid anything, thatās why she has been misconstrued. Thatās why there are so many lies that have spread about her, her work, and this show. Thatās why people hate on her and Harry Potter now.
Now I want to end this by saying that I have nothing against the TRA Activists or community at all. I am a loving, accepting, and respectful person who believes that everyone should be who they chose to be and that everyone should have rights. But as a woman myself who sees the concerns in the TRA Activists and community who have been nothing but violent towards us biological real woman for wanting their rights and concerns to be heard. I never have nor will I ever agree with them at this point. That is why I am pro JK Rowling, that is why I agree with her and her opinions and the work she is doing, and that is why I believe she is being misconstrued.
Also itās worth noting that I have had anonymous people tell me to die and have had bots that have tried to use my posts to say nasty things to me and others who have reblogged me. So thatās what also has made me pro Jk Rowling and believe even more that she is being misconstrued and hated on for no reason at all really. In a way itās made me understand and relate to her even more.

I think you've already done a fantastic job explaining how J.K. Rowling has been misconstrued! I can't believe we're going on six years of this now and still there are so many teabags who think she's pure evil. Here are her beliefs (from this tweet) that people who stand against her think she should be beaten, raped, killed, have her family/house bombed, have her books burned, etc. for:
Women and girls should have their own public changing rooms and bathrooms
Women should retain female-only rape crisis centres
Men don't belong in women's sport
Female prisoners shouldnāt be incarcerated with violent men and male sex offenders
Women should remain a protected class in law, because they have sex-specific needs and issues
Language should reflect reality rather than ideological jargon, especially in a medical context
Women shouldnāt be harassed, persecuted or fired for refusing to pretend humans can change sex
Women should not be threatened with violence and rape when they assert their rights
Freedom of speech and belief are essential to a pluralistic democratic society
Troubled minors, especially those who are gay, autistic and trauma-experienced, should be given mental health support instead of irreversible surgeries and drug treatments on non-existent evidence of benefit
Gay people shouldnāt be pressured to include the opposite sex in their dating pools, nor should they be smeared as āgenital fetishistsā when they donāt
And when they whine about her 'supporting trans genocide' what they mean is she 100% funds Beira's Place on her own, a crisis center for women only, a single center that is female-only, a single center that women can be sure they will never come in contact with a man during a traumatic time in their lives.
