love. love for oneself especially is a big one. your parents betrayed your trust and abandoned you emotionally and if the people you are taught to trust betray you, then how can you possibly think we’ll of yourself?

but you are so good. you are good and kind and have survived so many things no one should have to be put through. you are beautiful and strong and deserve all the love and care in the world. if you can’t convince yourself of it on your own yet hear me now:

Polina Gagarina is not Vladimir Putin

Since Tumblr for some reason won’t stop bashing Polina Gagarina, please note that she is not Vladimir Putin and she is as responsible for Vladimir Putin as, say, Electro Velvet are for David Cameron or Conchita is for Werner Faymann. It’s perfectly ok for you to not like her song, or to not like her as a person, but it sucks when you blame and boo her for whatever evil Vladimir Putin represents. 

The whole “Russia got votes because of fear voting” is completely wrong, too - don’t forget that in many former Soviet countries there are large groups of Russian speakers, that Russian is often still the most widely spoken language, and that cable operators carry many Russian channels spreading Russian music and promoting Russian stars. On the other hand, Polina also got many points because… surprise surprise… she had a f*cking good song and a voice to match.

So chill, Tumblr. It’s Eurovision. It’s a glamorous kitschy superficial party for divas, nationalists, drag queens, grandmas, neighborhood gay boys, forgotten “The Voice”/”Pop Idol” winners, conspiracy theorists, and everyone in between. Enjoy the music and get ready for 2016.

i’ve had more than one anon asking about lips and i’ve tried to do a little tutorial before without posting it simply because i feel like my mouths aren’t really that special. they are always really quick and not super detailed, but i tried to put something together anyway! as always this is not a depiction of how you best draw mouths or how you should paint them, this style is just how i draw them. 

and of course, i added some examples. i use this method almost everytime painting lips these days.
