#fms_lucky every day I try to appreciate what I have. It can be hard but it's really important. This gorgeous guy turned up at work today from police legacy who support police officers in dire situations. I don't go far, I don't socialise a lot, I have few friends, life can sometimes be a struggle. Just the other night I fell apart, sick of being sick, work is ridiculous...Justin came home from work and I just started crying and couldn't stop. One thing that helps me keep busy on a weekend is cooking, and today that was some tasty homemade sausage rolls. I love cooking and sharing what I cook, everyone loves food. The Daily Struggle

Part of the reason I want to share my thoughts, ideas, random things, is that sometimes I fall apart. 

So work is hectic, I have had a cough for a month, I am over it. On Thursday night my partner came home from work (he is a chef, working most nights) and I just burst into tears. Could not stop crying, just a bit over it all. Thankfully he just held me, didn’t even ask me why, he knew. Yes, he is a keeper. 

Struggled through work on Friday, feeling exhausted and drained, eyes puffy, told everyone I had a really bad headache and just generally not feeling well. I told a couple of people what had happened but didn’t want to announce it to the world. However one of those people that I told, said yeah my partner calls me his emotional darling....I do exactly the same thing. And I am sure a lot of people do. Sometimes it all just gets to be too much and breaking down in tears, sobbing, being at your most vulnerable is a necessity to get through life.

Audiobooks

I thought about listening to audio books for a long time before I actually did it. I don’t know why, because now I love them. I generally stay home on weekends, don’t go too far at all, and I love to cook. So having an audio book on while I cook is just about the perfect stay at home day for me!

What am I doing here?

I feel like i want to share content, but have no idea what I want to share. Sometimes I can come up with some interesting stuff, a good photo here and there, or pearls of wisdom...ok not so much, just interesting googled things or stuff from podcasts. I like to cook new recipes so that might be worth sharing. I don’t know, let’s just see how we go.
