Lucien nodded and gave Bella a big and tight hug. He pressed a kiss on her cheek before breaking the hug and pulling away. “Don’t let me keep you here. We can catch up with each other with coffee and freshly baked pie?”
“Absolutely,” Bella responded, smiling a little wider after the hug. “Have fun too, Luce!” She said, waving before running off to her cabin.

“It’s a really good look on you, Bella.” Lucien quickly added, not wanting the daughter of Poseidon to get the wrong impression from his statement. “Well, don’t let me keep you here! Tell Aiden that I’ll hurt him if he tries to hurt you alright? Though I doubt it’ll come to that at all, since I can see that the two of you are made for each other.”
Bella beamed at him after Lucien spoke. She truly looked like she had a shine to her after having spent most of the day relaxing and being spoiled by the man she was in love with. “Well, if I’m saving all my kisses for Aiden, can I at least have a hug?” She said with a chuckle, opening her arms.

She comes closer, very uneasy and nervous because she isn’t sure how Bella will react. She’d promised to help her with anything she needed, she would help her, but she just hoped she wouldn’t laugh at her first. “What is Valentine’s Day?”
Bella smiled a little wider, genuinely, and resisted the urge to giggle. It was an unexpected but very sweet question. She knew the camper wasn’t too aware of modern life, but it hadn’t occurred to her she wouldn’t know Valentine’s day. “Ah... It’s a holiday like Halloween, not a national kind of day-off holiday, but a holiday people celebrate to commemorate love.” The daughter of Poseidon patted the seat next to her on the couch for the blonde to join her.

Lucien threw his head back, laughing loudly. “Sorry, that really wasn’t my intention.” He apologized, resting his head on his palm where his arm was resting on the booth. “You look like you’re floating above the clouds.”
Bella exhaled, letting out a breathy laugh as her cheeks colored up a little. “Is it that obvious?” She asked, rolling her eyes playfully and walking over. “It’s just-Aiden has managed to do the impossible and make me completely forget my worries and responsibilities for today. I just wanted to grab some stuff from my cabin and put on something nicer for whatever else he has planned.”

Aiden leaned into the kiss, holding onto her gently. “You would be the strongest princess out there either way. A woman who would never give up and try to help everyone as best as she can.” He replies once they pulled away.
“You’re the same way,” Bella said softly, face still close to his. “You’d do anything for the people you care about, and that’s one reason I love you.” She smiled a little wider, some more gleam in her eyes now than before. “I promise we’ll have the vacation we both deserve after this is all over.”

His lips melted into a smile at her response, relieved to know that she was at least doing better than he expected. He’d noticed her working hard to rebuild the different parts of the camp, always looking strong for the others.
Reflecting her light tone, he chuckled, replying, “Yup. The… past event has done a number on the camp, but now,” he paused, giving the other camper a playful look, “I’m beginning to think that overexertion will be the end of us at this rate.” Raphael leaned against the cabin wall, crossing his arms as he looked gently into her eyes.
His voice softening, he asked, “Are you getting enough sleep? We might be half-divine, but self-care is still really important around here, especially if you’re the head of Poseidon’s cabin.”
Bella surely looked tired with a bit of subtle darkness underneath her eyes and the overall way in which she carried herself. But she continued to muster a small smile, hoping to reassure her fellow camp leader. “Father never complained about my hard work,” she joked. Then she sighed and nodded, still trying to keep up a smile. “I’m doing okay. I promise. My siblings have been helping a lot more than usual with cabin upkeep as I go around helping with the camp.”
Lucien flipped the sign around, sitting at the back of the booth . He didn’t know why he even agreed to doing the kissing booth again this year besides the fact that he thought it would be fun. Trying to hide the shadows around him, he showed a big smile. “Fancy a kiss?”
Bella was passing by slowly, looking around happily at the decor and not noticing her fellow camper in the shadows until she heard him. After jumping in surprise a bit, she turned and glared playfully at him. “Gods, Lucien! You need to stop scaring me like that!” She said with a breathy laugh.
detective-danvers:
“Then we plan.” Aiden kisses her knuckles gently. “My team is already searching for the missing people and I’m sure we can help. Eidolon might think they could scare us but, no. We’re gonna learn from this and become stronger.”
Bella sniffed, nodding slowly as she looked up at him. The moment their eyes met and she saw how much genuine truth and love were in them, a small smile began to spread over her lips. She huffed, looking away and then back at him. “I don’t know how I’d go through any of this without you.” She murmured. Her hands gently cupped his face and she kissed him.

El got a cupcake and started to peel off the paper, attention mostly towards his sister. “I was useless when it came to the possessed, I couldn’t really hold stygian iron but it was horrible enough to fight people you care about. I don’t know think I can even feel an ounce about how you felt… But know that you’re not to blame, okay?”
“I know,” she said softly, shaking her head. “But...” Bella exhaled, mustering a smile. “No, it’s fine, I’m really just trying to focus on other things and move on from it. We have so much rebuilding in camp to do now and... prepping. Whatever this was, it can’t have been the end of it. I think they just tried to weaken our defenses.”

Raphael was checking in on all the affected campers from the attack, evaluating their physical health - though, he believed that he was also subtly surveying their mental health, too. He knew that it must have been traumatic for all parties involved - and he also couldn’t do anything to stop it.
A soft apology left his lips as he realized he was unkindly intruding Bella’s space: “Ah! Hi Bella; sorry for the intrusion. I just wanted to see if you were doing well, is all.”
Once again, Bella had to remind herself that the head of the infirmary was not a son of Apollo despite appearances. It was intriguing to think about and she very much liked Raphael and the way he worked so well with campers. As a leader, she respected it. Bella smiled at Raphael, getting up and nodding to him as she walked over. “Check up, is it?” She said, sounding a little teasing because she hoped to lighten the mood.

She feels as though she’s interrupting something. Abigail felt as though she’d done this a lot since arriving at camp, but it’s too late for her to go now; she’d been spotted. “Hello.” Her voice is quiet, probably even too quiet for it to be registered. “I, um. You said you would help me when I did not understand. Will you help me?”
Bella’s expression seemed to soften even more at the sight and sound of Abigail, seeing how much she needed something and the daughter of Poseidon not being able to deny her. She bared a lot of sympathy and affection for the young, learning demigod.
“Of course,” she said. Bella got up, nodding and gesturing to the couch and seat for her to pick and sit with her. “I’d love to. What’s going on, Abby?”

El followed Bella and walked over to where she was, plopping himself down on the couches. He handed his sister her own cupcake box. “Blue decided to put a wave design, which was pretty cool. He offered to give a small cake when I mentioned you but he seemed frazzled enough. How are you doing?”
Bella smiled down at the cupcakes, putting them down on the coffee table in front of the couch and making note to say thank to Blue some time soon. She opened the box to allow the two to grab one of the pastries. “I’m... alright. Considering,” she said, taking one of the cupcakes and unwrapping it. “I’m honestly just very grateful you didn’t have to go through an eidolon possession too. I can’t stop thinking about it.”
detective-danvers:
“Then let’s go. Let’s get out of here together, just the two of us. We can go back to the UK. We can spend a weekend on that yacht that Trent gave you.” Aiden hugs her tightly. “Just tell me where you wanna go and we will.”
Bella couldn’t help but smile through her tears and pull away only enough to look up at him. She gave him a small shake of her head. “I want nothing more than to do that with you... but we have to see this through first.” She took his hand gently, intertwining their fingers. “We still don’t know what’s happening with those missing humans and... I know the Eidolon was just a prep; them trying to weaken us before a strike.” Her smile disappeared.

“Hey hey..” Aiden whispers. He pulls away to cup his hands against her cheeks. “It wasn’t you..no one is going to blame you. Yes..you feel awful but you have to know, it wasn’t your fault.”
“... It doesn’t mean it feel like it,” Bella whispered, moving closer to him and burying her face gently between her chest and shoulder blade. Her hand comes up, clenching his shirt. “I’m trying to be the strong leader I’m suppose to be,” She breathes out. “But I just want to run away... bring you with me. Looking at this place, I just feel so guilty.” She says, voice shaking and tears spilling slowly down her cheeks onto his shirt. “I feel so afraid it’ll happen again.”
flynn-castor:
“I’m alright…” Flynn looked down at his arms. “A bit cut up, that’s all.” He kept his tone light and nonchalant. He hadn’t seen her in her hijacked state, and frankly he was glad he hadn’t. Flynn wasn’t super close to Bella, but he had a lot of respect for her as a person, as a Half-Blood. “How’re you feeling?”
She made her way over, frowning when he mentioned being cut up. She looked him over, taking note of any and all bandages to see the extent of his injuries and how much she should worry. After his question, the daughter of Poseidon shook her head and resisted the urge to sigh. “If I had a quarter for every time I was asked that...” She smiled sadly. “It’s not that I don’t appreciate everyone’s concern, but thinking about what happened, I just...” She looked away, lips pursing and expression grave. Bella shook her head a bit. “It’s just a lot to process, still.”

“It wasn’t your fault..” Aiden pulled her into a hug. “You weren’t in control of your actions.”
“They still used me,” Bella said, trying to control the shaking of her voice as she melted into the embrace. “Everything about my powers that I’m afraid of and that I’ve been trying to control... I feel awful.”

The dust was still settling after the recent events that took place in Camp Half-Blood. Slowly, but surely, it was returning to its previous un-apocalyptic state. Flynn’s anxiety was still through the roof, and one way he kept his mind off things was to check up on others. He knew Bella had been one of the people that’d been hijacked, and with her cabin being so close to his, Flynn decided to see if she was there. She was.
“Hey… I hope I’m not intruding.”
Bella turned in her chair and mustered a small smile towards the familiar face. “Hey, not at all... I just came back from the stables,” she said, getting up. Bella turned for a moment so that her messy table was at least somewhat presentable, just pushing away the bits of paint and brush hairs to the side, before turning back to face him. “How are you doing, Flynn?” She asked, just as friendly but concerned as always.
