Hello my dear flowers,

for those of you who don’t know me yet: I’m Frances, coffee junkee extraordinaire and a big fan of reading and writing fanfiction. My current obsession is The Witcher, although this is a multifandom blog. My interests are far and wide from James Bond to Arthurian legend and everything in between.

Speaking about work, I am a writer myself. You may find me on Ao3. As of now these are the fanfictions I have set free into the world: 

- A Song about Pirates: my current WIP and biggest project yet. It’s a pirate!AU, eventually Geralt/Eskel/Jaskier 

- Blessed: How Jaskier came to be immortal... maybe. 

- The loves and cabals of Julian Alfred Pankratz: Geralt meets people Jaskier rather tries to avoid. New found family and a bittersweet ending included. I’m proud of this one.

- CSI:Novigrad : Geralt is a broody cop, Jaskier an excentric ME.

- Brain to mouth: Based on a prompt. Geralt is compelled to say stuff. Steamy kisses happen. 

- Spa day: A silly little crack ficlet. 400 words of self indulgence.  

- Of doublets and spoons: prompt fill, 2500 words of Geralt/Emhyr marriage bickering. Not my usual ship, but I had my fun rising to the challenge.  

- Bad Day (TM): prompt fill again. 2k. Geralt deals with his chronic pain. hurt/comfort

- if ( C = obsolete):  Grumpy computer programmer Geralt can not believe his ears when he hears the new guy saying that C is basically obsolete. Smut with a niche plot. 

- Confessions to make: A collab I did with some really awesome people! Check it out! 5+1, Geralt/Emhyr, breathtaking art. 

If you like (or don’t like) any of it, I would appreciate a like, reblog, comment, kudo, ask. Whatever. It motivates me to create more content. You may leave prompts, if you like. I am a busy person with a hang to procrastination, so please bear with me when they take a while to fulfill.

Rest in peace Akihiro Miwa (1935-2026)

I haven't seen anyone talking about this and just wanted to make a quick post on here.

Akihiro Miwa recently passed away peacefully june 20th, and was not only a drag queen and a queer icon, but also the japanese voice of Arceus in the movie Arceus and the jewel of life, as well as the witch from Howl's moving castle and Moro from Princess Mononke.

Rest in peace and thank you for the wonderfull impact you made in this world.

I literally love all of you, but as a Tumblr veteran, Tumblr's main feature is the reblog feature. It is the beating heart of the dashboard and the foundation for a chronological timeline. The For You page here should not be your default setting.

You guys have got to start reblogging stuff you enjoy, especially, specifically gifs and fan art but also fics and fan theories or even hot takes if you're not afraid of a lil discourse. I'm tired of being the first or third reblog for a person's post and then seeing my blog's followers do nothing but hit like, while blogs sit there with no new posts in months or years!

This has been my main argument against "AI" from the very beginning.

OpenAI scraped the entire web. All of which had been a labor of love from humans. Wikipedia is the backbone of a lot of LLMs, and that was volunteer human labor. They stole it and now they're selling it back to us.

And worse, they're trying to destroy the free sources that they stole from. It's destruction of human knowledge on an unprecedented scale. The burning of the library of Alexandria has nothing on this.
