I had brunch with friends for my birthday. It was so beautiful and I really felt the love. Thank You God for how far You have brought me.

I think 31 just hits different.

Sometimes I’m lonely. It’s strange because I’m so comfortable being alone. I literally have days that I don’t want to speak to anyone but at certain moments I realize that I’m yearning that feeling of group laughter and talking. I really miss my family as well.

I choose to let go of the past.

I will allow others to be wrong.

I realize now that I let certain things I experienced change me. Much more than I ever admitted.

In certain moments l've caught glimpses of my old self and realized that in some ways l've been living scared.

Scared of betrayal, of judgement, of being misunderstood, of rejection.

Today is a new beginning.
