i absolutely ADORE atsushi.... he is so well written and i love his relationships with other characters.... he has such an interesting story and themes in it which are so much more than just. abused orphan kid yk. like theres hints of religious trauma, and HINTS OF BEING TRANS IF YOURE LOCKED IN ENOUGH TO NOTICE 👀👀👀👀BOTH TRANSMASC AND TRANSFEM INTERPRETATIONS WORK FOR HIM BTW....

atsushi struggling to accept his tiger form (HIS TRANSNESS 👀 👀 👀 👀 ) and at first describing it as a vicious beast (INTERNALISED TRANSPHOBIA 👀 👀 👀 👀 👀 ) and getting kicked out the orphanage bc he transformed into a tiger (TRANSPHOBIC ORPHANAGE 👀 👀 👀 👀 👀 ) (ALSO THE TIGER IS A GIRL 👀 👀 👀 👀 ),,,,,, if ure seeing it in a transmasc way, it could be him learning to accept his birth gender and accepting his current identity of being a man and accepting that tmen can also be feminine sometimes and still be transmasc, and if youre seeing it in a transfem way, it could be her learning to accept her femininity and finally accepting being a woman!!!!I LOVE TRANS ATSUSHI!!!!
