I have been the worst about posting... But this shoot with Kevin + Tara Ranegar was a one with a Pacific storm rolling in.  Their Christmas cards turned out great and I was great to be apart of capturing these friends with their beautiful pups.

Daniel + Katie Engagement

It’s alway an honor when some of your best friends come to you asking to shoot their engagement pictures.  I’ve known Daniel since I was twelve and we grew up playing soccer together.  The first time I met Katie, I knew she was going to be his future bride.  They are the definition of a perfectly matched couple.  God bless your future vows and your relationship for the rest of your lives.  Thanks for letting me be part of your lives.

Awaiting Baby Shain

My wife and I have been in Portland, Oregon for the last few weeks and we had the chance to make a quick up to Seattle to see our friends, Nathan and Elizabeth, from College.   Its always nice to spend time with friends, but during our visit Elizabeth asked me to shoot some impromptu pictures of her, Nathan and the soon to come Baby Shain.  It was great visiting with friends, seeing the city, and capturing imagery during our short stint in town.  Enjoy!

Baby Ella

This shoot last week was a sad one.  I found out that my friend, Mike and his family were moving cross country after having their daughter to be closer to family.  As I am happy for them and excited to see everything they accomplish in their new adventure, I am sad to be saying good bye to good friends.  Luckily, I was able to do a shoot for them only hours before they left town.  I always love capturing a family with such love and devotion for each other as it always comes out in the pictures.

I look forward to seeing what a wonderful person Ella will turn into with these great parents.  Good Luck luck on the East Coast and don’t be strangers!

Lydia + Brad's Wedding Day

It’s always a privilege when I am approached by friends to shoot their wedding. I have known Lydia since elementary school and have admired how she has always been awesome. Its true. Her picture is by the definition of awesome in the dictionary. The wedding weekend was my first time meeting Brad and immediately respected him in his devotion to Lydia. Capturing your day was an honor and I look forward to hearing the great things you do with your life together.

O'Connor Recreation

A few weeks ago some great friends from Albuquerque, New Mexico approached me about recreating their special day.  Now I usually don’t do a whole lot of weddings, basically only when I am asked by a friend to do so.  But this one turned out to be a great day with a lot of laughs.  You can genuinely see the love that Scott and Paige have for one another pouring out through the photos.  These are just a few quick shots from my first run through edit from their recreated day.  I’ll post a few more after I get through them all.
