After putting the coat on the coat hanger, he headed to the couch, and when he was about to tell her that she could sit, she did it herself, so he saw no reason to say it. Her words confused him, because he couldn’t tell if she was talking about him, or if she was talking about herself. She figured it was the latter, as he knew she wouldn’t say something like that about another person.

“You’re not lonely though, you have Agatha, and you have me too, besides you have your family, don’t you?” he pointed out, and if she didn’t she had her friends, or she would make some. He doubted that someone like her, would stay friendless for too long. She was a nice person, so was impossible to think that no one would want to be friends with her.

“I’m good,” he said with a small smile, “My life has been great,” he admitted with a wild smile, “Today at work was pretty crazy though,” something happened, that caught him by surprise, but he knew that his job would be dangerous, so he was expecting him that already. He noticed that she looked at his lips, and that made him blush, “How about you?”

❛ My parents are in Australia. ❜ Bella comments explaining part of her loneliness. She nods in regarding the mention of their daughter and him. ❛ Yeah, you're right. ❜ She clears her throat, as find some kind of composure. ❛ I have Aggie now. ❜ She almost added 'and you', but then... They aren't exactly too close for her to say those words yet.

❛ How so? ❜ In regards to how crazy was his work that day. She looked down at her own hands, feeling slightly awkward around him... But this awkwardness became somewhat natural for them. ❛ I have a few new patients today. And some of them were really handful, but I hope we'll make progress for the next session.  ❜ She adds.

Yes, some of her patients gave her a headache, which is the reason why she was late beforehand. She noticed his blush and avoided to look at him. ❛ Do you have water or anything for a drink? I'm thirsty. ❜

It was a relief to him that she let him be part of his daughter’s life. They didn’t know each other well, so he had to admit that he was worried that she may not want him around her, even if she was his biological daughter, some mothers could be too worried, worried that he could be someone bad for her, but that was not the case, and he was glad.

“It’s not, otherwise I wouldn’t be offering,” he assured her with a small smile, “Besides, like you said, it’s storming, would be awful to not let you stay, it’s dangerous to go out with a time like this,” he closed the door once she was already inside, already taking her coat, since in there, it wouldn’t be necessary.

“You seem surprised,” he let out a small laugh, “I had two before, but I turned one of them into Agatha’s room.”

The rain never really bother her, but driving in a downpour is another story. But the thunder made its own noise, making her flinch a little. She detests the sound of the thunder. Her sympathetic smile emerged once Osian took off her coat, and she turned to him, unsure of what to do on the place that isn't hers.

❛ That's made more sense... But it's weird having the amount of bedroom when you're... Lonely. ❜ Bella has Agatha's room, hers of course. Her apartment is small, but it's comfortable for her and her daughter, in spite of her mother always complaining about her not having a guest room when she arrives to watch out for their daughter.

❛ So, how are you? ❜ She's trying to have a small talk, after all he's her daughter's father. She took a sit on his sofa, crossing her legs and pulling the strands of her blonde hair behind her ear.  She bites her tongue when she stared at his lips. Although she has no idea how his personal life is, if he has somebody else and things like that.

Despite the fact that they weren’t very close, he was aware that she loved her daughter a lot, so the only reason why she would ever be late, was because of her job, “I figured, as I know that your work is the only thing that would keep you away from her,” he assured her with a small smile, he couldn’t imagine her going to a bar and forgetting about their daughter, “Of course, come in,” he gave a step back.

“Of course, she’s my kid too, and I have an amazing time with her,” he loved taking care of her, because it meant that he would spend time with her, they had a lot of fun, and it was why when it was 8 pm, she already collapsed on her bed, “You can sleep in here if you want, so you don’t end up waking her up when you pick her up,” he didn’t mind if she stayed over, they could be awkward around each other, but he didn’t dislike her.

“There’s a guest room,” he thought that it would come in handy, it was why when he looked for an apartment, he looked for one with at least three rooms, just in case. He turned one of them into Agatha’s room.

                  The idea of dropping her with Osian is the fact that he could have a quality time father-daughter while she was off to her duties. ❛ I can tell. ❜ The blonde entered his place, feeling much better with the warmth of his apartment, undoing her scarf on her neck, and she turns to him. She checks the time on her watch, considering his request.

                ❛ If it's not much of trouble, I wouldn't mind staying over besides... ❜ Outside the noises of thunder and downpour were strong.❛ I can't go back home with this weather. ❜ She took a sit on the sofa, part of her wants to check on in their daughter, but part of her is afraid of waking up the baby, especially with that kind of weather.

                 ❛ Do you have a guest room? ❜ Her tone showed surprised with what he said, and Bella let slips her thick Australian accent.

It’s not exactly like they ended on bad terms, because neither one of them cheated on the other, they didn’t even date, so why would they be awkward you ask? Because they were supposed to be just a one night stand, but she got pregnant because they weren’t careful, don’t get him wrong, he loves his daughter, but she was an accident. Obviously he won’t tell her that way if she ever asks, but she was.

He was at that moment in the living room, sitting down on the couch, watching TV. Her mom didn’t go to pick her, so he figured she would be sleeping there, but the door bell rang when he was about to sleep and give up on waiting for her, so he got up and opened the door, “Hey,” he gave her an awkward smile, “Agatha is asleep.”

         ❛ I figured... ❜ It was too late for a baby to be awake anyway. ❛ Sorry to delay, I've got caught up with some stuff at work, and when I've noticed I left later than what I originally thought. ❜ She sighs, rubbing her temples due to the headache of a hard day. ❛ May I come in? ❜ Bella is always formal for those she doesn't have any intimacy, and that includes her baby's father.            ❛ Thanks for watching her out while I was out, working... ❜ To be clear, Bella didn't obligate Osian to assume the paternity. He took the decision of his own to be part of her life, which she appreciates. At the least, their daughter has a mother and a father regardless of being single both of them. The most important Agatha has parents that love her to death. So, she couldn't ask for more than this.          The night was cold, and she was rubbing her own arms to get warmer, even wearing her overcoat. It was possible to see her breathing through her nostrils due to how cold it is and seems as if she was smoking a cigarette, but she wasn't.

It all started with Bella and Osian, they had one night stand and they had Agatha. Now their life it's complicated. Her daughter is too young to understand that her parents don't live with each other like the other 'normal' kids. It's not like they're divorced or ex. It's just the aftermath of a drunken mistake. Right now Bella was heading to Osian's place to pick up Aggie.

She left the office later than she originally thought she would, her seven-month-old baby probably must be asleep at this time. Nearly 1 A.M. She knocked on the door, waiting for Osian to open it for her. It was weird to back to work, after those months away.

I can recommend it for you, after all, I'm a psychiatrist. ❜ It's part of her job, giving certain types of medication to her patients. ❛ But, you shouldn't take it often. ❜ She warned, this tranquilizer it's not made to take it often, only sporadically.

             ❛ Sure... ❜ She grabbed the papers, looking very carefully what was on her hands before signing up the papers, and handed it to Mickey. The Aussie only could think of two things. One is her daughter and two is her decent amount of time to sleep to recover her tiredness of a long day working. ❛ The weekend is coming, any plans for this weekend? ❜ Apart from dreaming to have a decent time to sleep, she couldn't think anything entertained. Maybe she is getting old, or maybe the lack of creativity hits her.

“What time is it?” Malakai groaned, picking his head slowly off his desk. “Oh my god, have I been kidnapped? Where’s my bed?” His mild freak out was quickly cut off when he noticed that he was at his office at the firm and frowned in confusion, “Oh shit…Did I fall asleep here? Uh oh. That’s awkward. I need a vacation. I need a Red Bull…I need a nap.” He was talking ninety to nothing and that was normally something he did when he was either drunk or highly stressed out. Unfortunate right now, it was the latter and his anxiety was higher than the stars and the moon in the sky.

❛ You need a Clonazepam. ❜ Bella was picking up some papers she needed. She still has to pick up her daughter from the nanny's place, and truth be told she was way too late to pick her daughter, but she would pay for the babysitter extra money for her delay anyway.

❛ It's ALMOST mid-night I still haven't seen my daughter. ❜ She points out, as she grabbed her purse and throws on her shoulder, ready to leave the company.

“Ugh, don’t you hate when you are fixing a guy’s car and he tries to mansplain everything you are doing? Like, dude. I have been doing this for years, my step-father taught me everything I know, back up and let me do my job.” She groaned, rolling her eyes as she told the story. “Anyway, then said guy proceeds to ask me for my number and says that he wouldn’t mind hitting it even though I wasn’t that pretty. Long story short, his car’s still fucked up and now his nuts hurt.”

Bella had a busy day, at the office talking to her clients, here and there. But nothing really excites her little heart. It was just another mundane day. She couldn't help but half-listening what the other was talking about, her neurons were burning, with a bunch of things she heard earlier at her job.

The Aussie looked at the brunette by her side and shook her head. ❛ Men, being men. ❜
