So yesterday the Dutch government had a press conference about the measures being taken to combat Covid-19. And during that press release, they asked the public to please stop panic buying, because people are literally going out and buying ALL. OF. THE. TOILET. PAPER. 

The thing is, stocking up on enormous amounts of food and stuff is called ‘hamsteren’ in Dutch. Like, hamsters. Which lead to this glorious moment where the Dutch sign language interpreter signed ‘stop hamstering’.
