He was on the spot and he didn’t even know WHY. He wouldn’t interrupt her thought process just await for her to say whatever needed to be said… At least, that was his intention at first; He was about to open his mouth to ask ‘what’s up?’ but just as he did she came to the conclusion she needed.
Ah, yeah, the headphones. Once always upon his ears with some sort of music playing either LOUDLY TO BLOCK OUT or softly to console him when he was forced to SPEAK to others. He did not forget them, no he would never just FORGET, today he CHOSE to leave them upon his desk at home.

“They’re at home. I figured since… We’re hanging out today I ya know…” The smile is harder to keep and the same hand goes to rub the back of his neck as that feeling settles in, a regret for leaving them behind and not around his neck at the very least, “Didn’t need them.”

❝ I see, ❞ There’s a slight sway in her movement; hands held politely behind her back, ❝ —-can’t imagine them being harder to come by than this though. ❞ This, referring to the bell around her neck. Rather an argumentative tone, her words lace a joking tone. Unspoken is her appreciative feeling toward his gesture, ❝ So... where to first? You mentioned showing me some art. ❞
