Introduction!

Hey, I’m Heart from @xmyheart-hope2dye and this is a little side blog where you can ask my beloved ocs just about anything. As of now, most of my ocs either don’t have character sheets or the character sheets are being worked on very slowly. This post will be updated as I get them done.

And, of course, there are rules that I ask to be followed, as there are with every ask blog. Like:

Please do not harass me or my characters. If you want to ask something, ask once. I’m slow when it comes to answering asks since I’m not a robot that can draw at any time in two seconds.

I am okay with light flirting, but outright sending me asks (even if it’s for a character) that include sexual content is not okay. I enjoy flustering my ocs, but drawing them reacting to something freaky is something I’m uncomfortable with.

When my Sona is available for asks (because, yes, she is a character even if she’s just meant to represent me), do not ask anything personal you wouldn’t want to be asked. Do not ask for her “real name”, I will not give you that. If it is asked, she will answer with her name, not mine anyway.

Children ocs will not be available for asks at any point. All of the ocs that are available for asks are over 18.

Have fun, but please do specify who you’re asking otherwise I will not know. You may ask all of them the same question, but please state that it’s for all.

Roleplaying is allowed! But do not expect me to draw your characters every time. If I do, they’ll likely be inaccurate since I might not know much about the character.

Ships are allowed, but they’re not canon unless stated otherwise.

Seriously, have fun. This blog is meant to be nothing too serious and a way for me to show my ocs while they get to answer questions I didn’t even consider having answers for.

To make up for how absolutely dirty I did Graham for his first ask, I will be drawing him a proper digital drawing when I have the time. Currently am making something for a friend, doing Art Fight refs, and prepping a birthday drawing for Filament. Lots of art projects, not a lot of time for new ones. That’s why I only managed to traditionally sketch Graham’s answer; simply bad time management.

I will probably be closing the ask box for a few months as, right after Art Fight, it’ll be my birth month and I like to draw myself something every year to see how much I’ve improved.

When the ask box is reopened and Graham, Leech, or Gloom get an ask, I hope the quality will be better. Also, Graham will be getting pets in his next ask as Shroom is now stuck there forever with him to give him pets until he decides he’s done.

Graham, my sassy boy... I have an excuse to draw you again and it's not for your birthday. That already happened. I love getting asks that force me to draw, but I'm still not done with one of the previous ones.

I simply refuse to draw Killer. Not for any reason. It just hasn't gone well three of the five times I've drawn him. The two drawings I'm proud of that are Killer are: from an old ask on a side blog I still use, and one I drew on a whim close to midnight about 1-2 years ago.

Every other time I've drawn him, he turned out looking worse than the background of Filament's first character sheet. Which I have finished sketching a new one, btw. For Art Fight. I just have to do it digitally and upload it.

And finish the very last installment to the prologue of The Misadventures of an Ink Creature. I think he and one other character on my Art Fight are going to be variants of Sans. I just don't draw Papyrus. His skull is too square shaped, and I'm uncomfortable with that.

Two of the characters I've mentally picked out are getting their first official character sheets. One has a sheet I never finished and the other has one where I sectioned the character into parts (head, hands, feet, etc) because I didn't really know what I wanted them to look like when I did it, but I knew some bits.

You'll just have to see who these mysterious two end up being when I do their sheets. They're both unavailable for asks on @beloved-ocs-get-asks so you can't cheat by going through the list of available ocs.

Which means Graham isn't going to be on my Art Fight profile this year. Or Leech. Filament is, but he's technically not supposed to get asks through that blog.

Gloom was never going to be on my Art Fight profile. He's the unloved one. His mobian form is hard to draw.

Anyway, Graham doesn't have lore. He was made with one of those pause games on TikTok where you pause the video to build a character. Except I changed him a bit because it's been like two years and I never liked his design that much. He'll get some lore, but I'm keeping it vague until I can think of a good story for a skeleton with cat ears.

There's definitely something with the cracks in his skull, I just never gave them a reason for being there since that was one of the things I got in the pause game. Actually, the original outfit he got was a suit, but I don't see any reason for him to wear one. He's not fancy, he's just mean.

And I still love him because he's my baby boy and I fought hard to not scrap him for how ugly his first design looked. I posted his first design here, but it's just his head. I wasn't frustrated or anything. I stopped there because, if I remember correctly, I got too excited to share him and made a TikTok. I deleted the account I posted that on, so you won't find the video.

I had three accounts at some point and never used two of them. They were useless.

I don’t really update this blog a lot.

There’s an ask and I’ve almost got the art done for it. I just have other asks on other blogs that I’m also doing. I’ve also been having issues with sleeping. Not because I can’t. But because I just won’t. I choose to play video games instead of going to sleep at a normal time.

The ask will be answered as soon as the art for it is done.

Asks are going to take a moment as I am doing something for Graham Cracker’s upcoming birthday and finishing up Filament’s comic! I may be sketching out how my beloved OCs are going to react to the asks received right this very moment, but I will not be letting myself digitalize and answer the asks until my schedule is a bit more free.

I just happened to be hit with inspiration and… uh… almost fully drew Leech before remembering I’m supposed to be sketching Graham’s birthday drawing ('._.)

Don’t expect him to look like this when I draw him. I don’t feel like I could ever redo the absolute perfection that is Graham’s character sheet. I should’ve done Filament’s flags for the background instead of whatever the fudge that is. His tail is supposed to be fluffier than that. And it’s not ecto; he has a jelly body (same thing, but it’s always out, unlike ecto which is summoned. I only learned this recently).

Graham is open for asks.

I did remake his character sheet, but I’m rethinking some things. Like his eyes and the cracks in his skull. Nimbus gives me enough of a hard time drawing all those stars, this guy shouldn’t become part of the problem.

I do miss answering asks here. I think I scared people away with the rushed art the last time I answered an ask :’)

I promise my style doesn’t look like that normally. I just happened to get an infection on my drawing hand when I got those asks, which made it very difficult to draw for like two weeks. My hand is fine now.

Asks are open!

Just don’t go in expecting to always be answered with digital art. Hell, I might not feel like coloring half the time, so any traditional drawings I use to answer asks likely won’t be colored.

I know you don’t know my characters, which is why they’re open for asks. So you can learn about them. I’ve got more ocs I’ll be slowly adding, and almost none of them know each other (I do have a few couples on the list I made to keep track of them).

The ones that can be asked are in my pinned post (I will fix the rules one of these days to make it a link for less clutter).
