i see so many girls and there’s so many different types of pretty… there’s like the honey, green tea pretty girls that like sitting outside and soaking up the sun…. the dark pretty with black eye make up and wild hair and piercings… the bad bitch pretty with killer highlight and striking style….. the lazy pretty girls with snapbacks and sneakers…. the bookish girls with glasses and sweaters that make your heart melt…. the soft Angel pretty girls who just look as sweet as a peach with soulful eyes…. the cute girls with chubby cheeks and messy hair and it seems like warmth emits from them… girls are so fucking beautiful

Surgeons after a 32 Hour Surgery
The operation involved three surgeons, six anesthesiologists, and eight nurses. Together they performed six separate operations to remove a series of brain tumors from a single patient.
From Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m. until Sunday, surgeons worked with great patience at the operating table.
According to the Chinese newspaper the Global Times, this was the longest operation ever undertaken at Fujian Medical University Union Hospital.
One of the surgeons, Dr. Chen Jianping, said about the surgery, “The patient had both an aneurysm and brain-stem hemangioblastoma. We needed to remove both tumors in one surgery. This required six different surgical procedures to be conducted on the patient. It can be difficult, risky, and time-consuming. If you are removing one tumor, and the other one breaks, it can be fatal.”
During the operation, the doctors took only short breaks, and even the patient’s family worried whether the surgeons could handle the physical strain.
But it all turned out well in the end. In the image above, taken shortly after the surgery was completed, one of the surgeons to seen making a V-sign for “victory.”

When people say “culture is meant to be shared” I’m literally like ???? Because that has literally never been the purpose of any culture. Culture is about identity, community and family. It’s about tradition. It is not and has never been about “sharing”.

sometimes, you don’t magically improve how you want to. sometimes, instead of getting an a in that class you worked really hard in, you get a c. but going from a fail to a c is so much progress in itself, and you should be proud of yourself for that. glorifying getting a’s is great and all, but we all need to see more posts glorifying real progress, whatever that looks like. you had failed that test completely but now you scraped a pass? progress! you got a d in that class last year and now it’s gone up to a c or a b? progress! a’s are wonderful and all, but sometimes you’ve got to cherish the other, less typically celebrated moments. no one goes from a fail to a 100 overnight. give yourself some credit.
