In case anyone was wondering, no I'm not okay after hearing the news of Richards passing. I really love him and think he is a brilliant person. Seems silly to feel so upset for someone I didn't know but there it is.

March 27, 1985 -

Hulk Hogan appears on Richard Belzer’s talk show Hot Properties just days before WrestleMania I to promote the event. In a demonstration of a front face lock, Hogan would end up accidentally choking Belzer out. When he let him go, he fell to the floor and split open the back of his head. Belzer would go on to sue Hogan and the World Wrestling Federation for five million dollars. The case would end up settled out of court, but the amount has been disputed. Hogan claims $2.5 million, while Belzer himself claims the amount was closer to $400,000.
