The Letter Dan Left (Dan Jones x Reader)

Honey,

You’re still asleep while I’m writing this. The way you usually are when I leave for work. I’m so sorry I never get to share the morning with you and that you start so many days alone.

You don’t know this, but I never get out of bed without taking in the sight of you cuddled up so peacefully next to me. I tuck you back in before I leave so you stay warm and safe. And I give you a kiss soft enough I won’t wake you, but sweet enough you can feel it in your dreams. At least I hope you can. I tell myself you can, when I’m locking the door behind me and stepping out on the sidewalk. It’s the only way I can convince myself not to turn back around and dive back into the blankets with you.

I head to the office so early, stay so late, work so hard because I know you believe in me. You believe in what I’m doing, even if you don’t know the details. You believe every hour I’m away counts toward something bigger than both of us. I’m so grateful for your selflessness. I hope what I’m doing now will make this country a better place for both of us and that someday we’ll get to live a little more peacefully together because of it. That someday our kids will be that much safer, that much more free, the way they deserve.

You are the only peace in my day. I’m looking at you as I write this now, your face so blissful, everything about you so soft and serene. I’ll carry this with me all day, through all the meetings, all the hours staring at screens, all the flips through files upon files upon files. I’ll be thinking of you. And it’ll be enough.

I’m leaving this on the coffee machine so you’ll find it first thing, probably before you’re even really awake. There’s no reason for it. Nothing’s changing, nothing’s different today. The only difference is I love you even more than yesterday. But not as much as I will tomorrow. I just need you to know how much you mean to me from the moment I wake up in the cold, blue morning to the moment I wrap my arms around you at night and fall asleep to the sound of your breathing.

I can’t wait to come home to you, love.

Flip loves giving massages just as much as he loves getting them.

Headcanons for giving Jude a massage?

Jude carries a lot of stress in his shoulders and you’ve realized it for a long time.

He holds them higher than normal when he hasn’t gotten the kinks out in a while. And when you notice, you ask him to take his shirt off and lie on the couch while you get that floral smelling lotion he likes.

And you’ll settle yourself on the backs of his thighs and start at his lower back and just assess what knots you can feel. And you always feel the tightest ones between his shoulder blades.

You take the time to gently work each knot out— doesn’t matter if it takes minutes or hours for you both. As long as Dominik’s busy, you don’t care to do this for him. And massaging lotion into the skin of his back is always nice too.

He sighs and moans and flinches at each knot you work loose. And he feels a little more limber. A little more free to move properly.

And once they’re all out, you kiss up his neck and across his cheek to press one on his lips. “Feel better?”

Even if Flip is a Dom in almost every sense, he loves when you try to flip the roles.

When you’re standing tall and bossing him around it feels like something he’s never experienced before. It tugs on his heart just a bit.

Especially when your hand comes to his throat.

Of course you couldn’t actually put enough force onto his throat to cause any damage, but he loves when you put as much pressure as you can on him.

Your fingers strain against his skin and so does his bulge against the fabric of his jeans.

When you tilt his head up and squeeze just a little harder, he closes his eyes and you swear Flip about cums in his Levi’s.

Can I get a Clyde Logan Headcanon. Something super fluffy.

Clyde is as domestic as they come when it comes to home life.

He loves when you two make shopping lists together and split up at the grocery store. And he smiles really big when he wanders around the store in search of what’s on his half of the list and sees you trying to chose between what style pasta to buy.

And his he’s constantly trying to better the trailer into something you’ve been dreaming up on your vision boards— whether that means replacing the sink or painting your bedroom.

He calls you honeybee more often than your own name and makes sure he tells you he loves ya more often than anything else.

He loves when he can sit beside you and read as you do your work on your laptop. He just loves to be close to you.

Clyde always makes the coffee for you in the morning. He’s happy to do it too. He’s got a special red mug for you to use.

He knows that you like a little bit of creamer but definitely not too much.

And he always kisses your forehead before you leave for work. And it doesn’t matter on the skirt or dress pants you’re wearing, he’ll give your ass a little smack on the way off the porch.
