When selecting the best crowdfunding platform for you project take a look at what other companies and organizations have partnered with them. This post looks at the potential distribution partners that have linked up with Kickstarter, IndieGoGo and others.
The whole spectrum of documentary funding is difficult, ranging from rather difficult to extremely difficult. In many ways this is positive as producers meet that difficulty with ingenuity.

This quote is from Tell Me Something: Advice from Documentary Filmmakers, a small powerful book full of advice from 60 documentary filmmakers. It's the kind of thing you keep on hand to pick up and sift through when you need some encouragement, a reminder that you can indeed do this.
Crowdfunding has become ubiquitous and often an essential part of your fundraising strategy. Every Friday I will be posting a crowdfunding resource. You can search for past posts on this blog with #crowdfunding.
