Goodbye, Cookie 2/14/15

Cookie has passed.  

She took a turn for the worse last night/this morning with no warning, and we just got back from the vet from saying goodbye.  It was her time though - I’m not emotionally in the position to really tell you Pals details, but she was ready.

I will post more when I can.  But for now, thank you all for your support. 

Our little Cookie will be missed dearly and remembered as the sassy princess she was.

Here’s Cookie’s GoFundMe page for her next vet trip, x-rays, and any medicine or other medical needs she might have.

I was able to figure out some fun rewards that won’t put me under any stress - a thank-you from Cookie herself, stickers, and a mug.  You’ll notice the donation amount for each reward level is sort of high.  That’s because I have to print the stickers and the the mugs and pay for their shipping.  The levels were calculated so that the majority of the money goes to Cookie.

Thank you guys for your support.  My parents have been very supportive through this whole thing, paying for Cookie’s visits thus far.  As I’ve stated, I’m in my final semester of grad school and am working as a student teacher, hence I can’t hold an actual job (student teacher doesn’t pay; it’s a class).  I’m at the most difficult part of my life I’ve ever experienced, so having my baby Cookie is really important.  You all know how amazing piggies can be and what an amazing source of light they are when things seem unbearable.  I just want her to not be suffering, so any and all support (donate, reblog, share, comment, like) means the world to me. 

Hopefully tomorrow Cookie’s problem will be solved, and we’ll all have our Cookie back.
