ponytail batting against her neck, eloisa kept a firm pace on her jog, enjoying the embrace of the sunâs rays against her exposed skin from wearing a sports bra and shorts. she always felt solace and comfort being active. that was until she felt a force interrupt her own thoughts. taking out a headphone and gazing over at the male who had collided with her, eloisa composed herself. â you could see my eyes from all the way over there ? nice try, â she scoffed teasingly, tightening her ponytail as the fellow runner made his request. her startled face soon smoothened out to a reluctant grin at the mention of eating. â you should have started with that. donât you know that food is the way to every joggerâs heart ? â her lips pursed in contemplation. â sure, why not ? â
while ben fully believed in staying active, he would have rather been in the gym, boxing with his coach. however, after a quick stop to said gym, he found out his coach was out for the day and was told to just jog instead. which was something that ben groaned about, but here he was, finishing up a jog that was far longer than heâd planned. âyou never know, i could have the best eyesight in the world.â he told her with a playful wink, raising a brow. âfood is the way into a lot of peopleâs hearts, mine included.â he chuckled, nodding his head lightly. âiâll be sure to keep that in mind next time i happen to âaccidentallyâ bump into you on the street.â he teased, the smirk trying to pull itâs way back onto his lips. âeven though iâm paying, you get to choose where weâre going. got anywhere in mind?â
