Quick styling tip! These two buttons on a shirts collar are what differentiate button-ups from button-downs. On a button down, the only time the two collar buttons should be undone is when putting on your tie. You can leave them buttoned for washing and storage and certainly should NEVER choose to wear a button down with the collar unbuttoned.
