All the windscreen bolts actually match now. I've decided to go all the way with the gold on white theme that the previous owners started. #cbr250rr #honda #motorcycle

I'm actually really proud of this. I designed a rocket/payload that gets out to another planet, deploys a cluster of satellites to provides communications over a planet (changing orbit between each one to spread them out too), and the main one provides a strong relay link back home. Took a few tries and a few dumb failures but it's working now! Loads of spare delta V too - could probably take it out farther than I currently have.
Kerbal Space Program is such a fantastic game.
Hey kids, you wanna see a magic trick? #magic (feat. @chrisramsay52's awesome Memento Mori card design)
I'm fine in here thanks. #rain #rainydays #bokeh #bokehlicious #bokehwhore

Late last year I went 4WDing around Fraser Island. I’m not normally into nature and sightseeing but it is a truly beautiful place.
I’ve finally got off my butt and finished picking out the best photos. Here they are!
I now own the best computer Apple ever made.
I recently took my DSLR on trip that involved lots of outdoors and sand and wind and changing lenses in unfavourable conditions. Editing the photos, I noticed on some photos that there were specks that were the same in several photos. It tends to be particularly evident in plain areas like sky.
I bought myself some sensor-cleaning stuff and had at it. There’s still one speck left but it doesn’t seem to be very evident in regular shooting conditions, as demonstrated by the cropped-in corner of a photo I took of my kitchen. The first four photos are progress shots. It took me five fresh swabs (I figured out pretty quickly that once you’ve got the worst of it off the sensor, you can never use the same swab twice, but I did re-use the first couple for a couple of passes each and it went ok). I stopped after the last two swabs barely made things better. I’m not sure I could get much better really, this isn’t a clean room job; I just ran the shower until things were a little humid (supposedly weighs down dust and thus cleans the air a bit) and then did it in the bathroom.
Specks like this tend to be worst with small f-numbers, so I cranked my lens all the way to f/32 and shot at a blank wall to basically get a photo of the sensor dust, and the cranked the hell out of the raw in Lightroom (blacks down all the way, whites way up, contrast to suit). This is literally worst case scenario stuff to bring this much dust into the photo, so it looks worse than it really is.
I bought a Helios 44-2 a while ago and finally found some thing that it’s good at :D More at https://bennym.net/photos
Trying to set up a virtualisation cluster but it’s being problematic and the only google result for “DuplicateStorageConnectionException” is the source code that emits the error. And now this post I guess.
So uh, guy reading this is 2017 - sorry, I don’t know what to do either.
Sometimes I go to skate parks but I'm too lazy to put wheels on my feet
Skate photography is hard. Click through for the album.
Made a flickr for my serious photatos. I think this is my favourite photo so far.
I changed my NetBeans theme to a dark background and now I keep doing vi shortcuts

I have directional lights now. So that’s neat.
