Where did the word season go? Parts used to be almost exclusively movies and mini series. Why is every show a part now? Is it because they gutted seasons to six-ten episodes and the public wants full stories?

My depression is being a real bitch today. I can't find motivation to do anything that isn't remarkably simple. I can't bring myself to put in any sort of effort. I'm failing myself and my family on a hundred different fronts, but I can't stand the idea of failing after putting in effort again. I'm really struggling and I don't know what to do.
