Ms. Chalice introduced me to Chef Saltbaker. He really does seem like a sweetheart, just like she said. But on the counter, I noticed a croissant that looked a lot like me. It freaked me out big time.And on top of that, I could've sworn the Chef gave me this savage look - like he wanted to crack my skull open and plate it up. I don't know if I imagined it or not… but those thoughts have been bugging me for three days straight now.

here's the thing — her english isn't exactly flawless, so she usually gets shy about speaking it out loud (mostly because of that thick french accent).

Croissita understands what's being said to her, but she can't fire back with the same level of detail.

that said, she absolutely loves listening and always makes an effort to really follow the conversation.
