Thank you so much to @narcissusoffduty for sending me these lovely locally-themed gifts! I love travelling and discovering new places, but I’ve never been to Florida (yet!) so these were delightful to receive. I especially love the old postcard, I love seeing the history of places so much!

Thank you to the lovely @bergamotandbiggles for my lovely present! Your note was so kind! I was so pleased when I opened it and found Carl’s book inside! I’ve been meaning to buy it for the longest time! It’s found a new home on my shelf with my “bound together” book after I reread it (your Moscow postcard made a lovely placeholder!). I also am so excited to try the tea (but I need to find my vintage teacups and do it properly)! The BEAUTIFUL vintage post card found a home on my gallery wall where I look at it every day and I’ve gotten so many compliments on the pin (I love it so much!!!) THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

Cannot thank @westolethelight more for this insanely amazing gift. I’m not being melodramatic when I say I shed tears over it. The little notes in the pictures explain why. Not only did she send me an entire album of her incredible photographs but a lovely collectible ship medal, a whole collection of Libs related postcards, a gorgeous handmade card (which charmingly required a treasure hunt for the final pieces to complete it), but to top it all off, a piece of antique jewellery with a story so precious it made me sob. Thank you, it’s really too much and I couldn’t be more honoured to have inherited it, I hope I do her proud. Thank you for everything. It’s simply amazing. X

The amazingly talented @11blocksfrommydoor actually made me these lovely paintings of the boys which I’m still screaming about because they look AMAZING. She also kindly painted me a gin in teacups mug (💕) and got me some amazing face masks. Thank you thank you thank you I seriously can not describe how amazing these paintings are. ❤️❤️❤️

Sometimes I wonder if people who claim to be Libs fans know what the word actually means. Pete now isn’t that different from how he was in the early days in terms of the mess and chaos around him, as well as the drugs, the talent and the genius! And he’s the kindest loveliest person I’ve ever been blessed to meet.

Hello, I don’t think much has changed, no. He goes up and down with his health but the general chaos has always been there. I agree, I find him very charming and sweet, and my most memorable experience will always be him leaning out the window of the Albion rooms, all fluffy in a vest, asking myself and @suchasinistergame if we had seen Zeus, who’d run off nine hours prior. It’s just how he is really. x
