Hi, what do you think would have been the best way to end Servamp and why?
This one's difficult to answer because on one hand I do harbor heaps of salt on the way the manga ended, but on the other I'm also just someone's sideblog for silly vampire smut, you know?
I can't claim to know what the best way to end the manga would have been, but I do think that what we got could have actually been really good. It just would have needed to be handled with a lot more care and time, and in my opinion at least there'd need to be a few adjustments to make it poignant and satisfying.
Obviously it would have needed to be longer. I don't think that is a controversial statement. The mirror world is a really fascinating and complex concept with massive implications for basically everyone in the manga, and did not fit the few chapters it was given. Everything about it but especially the motives behind its creation would have needed much more thorough exploration to give it the importance it should have had.
To be fair, of course, the ending seems to have been written with significant time constraints. If it was always going to be cut short, however, I would have preferred the mirror world to just be left out entirely in favour of focusing on character development for all those who still needed it. Strike Tanaka's greatest strength have always been their characters, and the rushed nature of the mirror world does absolutely no favours to any of those involved in it.
The biggest change that I would make in this regard is to bring Snow Lily's character arc to a satisfying end. Obviously this is a very personal take because he is my favourite, but I absolutely hate the way he was handled. I find this specifically frustrating because he is a genuinely well-written character in theory; it's just that the poor way the manga and its ending were plotted leaves him as one of the only characters who never get to properly explain themselves and receive some sort of catharsis. And I could truly go on about this forever but to cut a long story short: Any ending that Servamp might have would never be good to me as long as it leaves out Lily.
Before I let this post become a page-long rant, I shall only limit myself to one more proposal: I think a truly good ending to the manga should not be one in which C3 gets their way. They're an oppressive police force at the end of the day, and I find it quite weird how few of their many crimes ever yield any serious consequences.

The person to start the relationship was Iori, and his relationships with them early on was what made him realize he was gay.
The person who tends to keep them together most is Iori. He treats them both like toys or cute pets, which Touma despises but he knows he can't do anything to really stop it. The relationship is largely Iori teasing them together to get the reactions he wants, not unlike taunting a dog with food just to hear it whine or bark. He usually does it to bring out the brat side of Touma and the demanding side of Tooru, but he enjoys the challenge.
Some could say that Iori is closer to both of them than they are to each other, and he's definitely used his position as their superior more than once to arrange dates thinly veiled as meetings.
Tooru does consider himself lucky as one of the few people who can freely touch Touma and Iori. He doesn't take advantage of it often, but it's still an honor he takes quite seriously. I also imagine he's got quite thick skin from being with them, but he also sometimes resents how they treat him as more of a toy than a partner, especially since he feels like he's invested much more emotionally into their relationship.
I also like thinking of the consequences of their relationship. Once Mahiru meets Iori and Touma, he haaates that uncle is in a relationship with them both. He takes every opportunity to try and highlight how terrible and sleazy they are to subtly convince his uncle to find someone better. His uncle deserves better than those two! Iori finds it endearing, which irritates Mahiru further. Touma just wants to shoot his annoying brat again and he's not shy to say so. Kuro normally needs to pull Mahiru away and remind him that his uncle is old enough to make the right decisions in his love life (and it being referred to as a "love" life gets Mahiru huffy again lol)

Sex drive, from highest to lowest, is Iori, Tooru, and Touma. In terms of sexual encounters, Iori is the one to typically initiate or arrange the situation. It amuses him most to see Tooru try to dominate Touma, but it's also entertaining to join in. He'll either shower them in kisses and bites between teases/taunts as they go at it or join for spit roasting. Tooru and Iori will switch between top and bottom, but Touma only tops and pretty much never gives oral. They learned early on in their relationship that he doesn't get much pleasure from bottoming, and his ass is so bony with so little fat that it left Tooru and Iori's hips bruised for days. It's really not fun for anyone.

2. Cooking
Touma is very much cooking for sustenance. Minimal seasonings, mostly just things thrown together to simmer in a pan or pot for a while as he works on other, more important tasks. He might do something adjacent to meal prepping by making a ton of rice then just throwing in an egg when he heats it up. Touma might throw in some sort of vegetable or other protein if he’s feeling up for it. The only time he felt an urge to learn to cook was for Tsurugi, but even then it felt a bit of a lofty dream and he abandoned it for bare necessities soon after. Now he mostly relies on packaged food plus whatever 72 hour stimulant drink/vitamin it was that Tsurugi mentioned.

3. Sleeping
As someone who is described as a “chronic abuser” of a 72 hour stimulant drink/vitamin, this man is not sleeping by choice. If anything, Touma will sleep in short bursts so his body doesn’t completely shut down, and he does so standing or sitting upright. Whenever he lies down, however rare that may be, he lies supine with his arms at his sides and has a single pillow under his head. Looking at how thin and tall he is, some would assume he’d need to curl up a bit or at least throw on a blanket. In reality, Touma does neither. He used to curl up to keep Tsurugi warm but those days are long gone. Why bother now? With his smoking, it’s turned him into a heavy snorer especially when he’s on his back. He’ll wake himself up choking on his own phlegm when he lies down, so, again, it’s not exactly his preference.
7. Kissing
Bad smoking breath + coffee breath. disastrous. but he at least knows what he’s doing. If his partner can get over the smell of his lips/mouth, they’ll be pleasantly surprised by the fact he manages a decent balance of pressure and softness in his kisses. It’s not his favorite thing because he’s so tall compared to most so he thinks it must be pretty uncomfortable on both ends. He’s stooping down, his partner is reaching up, and who wants that? If he does give a kiss, he’d probably prefer something easier like kissing the hand/knuckles which is honestly a win-win when you think about it. No cig/coffee breath on their face, no awkward leaning down or craning the neck, and then he can keep his eyes mostly up to remain alert.
8. Sex
Oh he’s bisexual. All servamp characters are bisexual to me unless I have reason to believe otherwise. But as a sexual partner it’s hit or miss, nowadays mostly miss. When he was younger, his sex drive was certainly higher and he probably enjoyed a handful of encounters with Iori, Tooru, and eventually Akira. But I think with a bit more age, especially as he became more responsible and goal oriented, sex took a back seat for sure. The few times when he does still have sex, it’s likely a quick go with Tooru or Iori “for old time’s sake”. He’s not even particularly vocal or expressive, so the sex kinda sucks by nature. It’s impossible to tell if he enjoys it, but he finishes eventually. Then he’ll go for a smoke and get back to work when he’s done. His focus and work drive has definitely made him a very neglectful sexual partner about 80% of the time lol.
12. Jewelry
Heavily doubt Touma would want to get any sort of piercing, so that’s out of the question. If he does wear any jewelry, it’ll be something small that can’t easily be used against him. Perhaps he’ll put on a ring or two that could also serve as a focal point for some spells. He doesn’t like to wear too much as jewelry is flashy, a bit dense, and often runs the risk of being grabbed/pulled (dangling earrings, necklaces, etc). What little he does wear would be simple, plain, probably dull metal, but he stopped wearing it after being teased because it looked like a wedding band.
16. Anger
For someone who claims to be a purebred villain, Touma’s anger is very measured. He has his vices to deal with typical anger or frustration, namely smoking, but I think Touma is very slow to genuine anger. His anger is something that simmers and motivates him in the long term, but it rarely shows. Very few people have seen him genuinely angry, and, to make matters worse, most people tend to confuse his survival instincts for anger. Honestly the Shirotas have the unique ability to genuinely get under his skin in a way that makes him feel angry rather than just threatened/alert LOL. He is also particularly dangerous when angry because then he stops weighing his options so much, which makes him more violent and harder to predict.
20. Since there wasn’t another name I’m assuming this is just general thoughts on Touma and relationships?
He’s a surprisingly patient man insofar as he won’t often waste his energy with minor frustrations. He’s attractive and driven, but his personality as a whole is rancid by how stubborn and focused he is on achieving his goals. It's hard to deal with him, he’s not built for normal relationships, nor would he care enough to do the work necessary to change that. His hard-headed nature and need for control makes him into a person who is stifling at best and outright manipulative or even abusive at worst.

4. Driving
Tooru learned to drive primarily from his older sister, but he still hesitates a lot around cars. He rarely drives and prefers not to ride in one if he can avoid it. Whenever he drives he sits up on the wheel and is so, so alert. Nothing on the dashboard, nothing around the mirror, he needs everything in the front clear or he refuses to drive. Tooru genuinely looks like a different person when he’s behind the wheel. He looks stressed in a way that’s not normal for him.
6. Hugging
Tooru is an affectionate man. He loves a good hug, but I think his hugs are sort of…cruel to the people he’s around, for lack of a better description. When Tooru hugs someone, he holds them tight and for a good few seconds. He doesn’t hug so hard that it bridges into feeling painful. His hugs are just tight enough to feel secure and last long enough to feel very personal. Basically, his hugs are nice, but it’s also the sort of thing that exposes someone’s vulnerabilities to physical touch. It almost forces someone to experience catharsis so it’s a very powerful thing to be hugged by Tooru, but it can also make someone feel very small in the aftermath.
8. Sex
Oh god. Messy but very loving sex one-hundred percent. Tooru is a pretty affectionate guy which means a lot of kissing, but he’s always going to be very into his partner which means a lot of pre and a lot of moaning. He’s so very expressive in bed which is problematic when trying to be discreet. The main thing he’s not really willing to try is anything that involves him hitting or degrading his partner. Most of his sexual encounters have been with Touma and Iori, though, so that’s less of an issue as neither would want to be on the receiving end of that anyways. Tooru is quite versatile in the bedroom because he’s comfortable as top or bottom, dominant or submissive. With Iori and Touma’s strong personalities, however, he’ll typically need to lean submissive to balance them out.
In terms of stamina, almost everyone in the Shirota family has good stamina, so it works well in his favor when dealing with Iori. He’ll often try to help relieve Touma with sex, but it’s rarely satisfying for him with how Touma is so withholding and unaffectionate. Iori is definitely his preferred lay, but they both don’t feel right neglecting Touma.
16. Anger
Tooru cares a lot about many things, so naturally he gets angry. It practically runs in Shirota blood to get very fired up about injustices. I think when he was younger, he was definitely more hot headed. He’d get so worked up at Touma that he’d start to cry out of anger.
Now that he’s older, he definitely works harder to tame his anger, largely for his nephew’s sake. A big issue for him is he doesn’t always practice what he preaches, so he’ll hold a lot of tension and anger in himself without acknowledging it until he eventually breaks down at work or on the way back home to Mahiru. If he does take a moment to acknowledge his anger, he’ll try to release it through training drills or work. No matter what, he can’t stand the thought of bringing his anger home and showing it in front of his nephew.
