hello. i have a slightly stupid Flare related question

i first found the series by watching the anime and then i listened to audiobooks. i still have no idea what is the thing on Flare's forhead supposed to be. i don't even remember that part of her described in the books but it is on all illustrations. is it ever explained? did i miss something? currently i finished vol5, does it ever come up again?

i got you lol it’s so easy to miss & not addressed in the anime

it’s a guiding vessel for conjurings :) she uses it in vol 6 when facing menou/akari on the land of salt

for me it feels very intense i think she is my favourite antagonist in everything

(i am currently on vol 5. i know more less how it ends but i don't have any further spoilers. i'm just sad to know that there probably won't be much Flare past that point)

we flare fans bare a heavy cross. there truly is like five of us...but we are DEDICATED.... flare is so <333 flare <333 it is always NICE TO MEET ANOTHER FLARE FAN!!!!!!!!!!!

p.s. flare is actually quite heavily featured in vol.6! don't count her out yet! and i havent read past vol6 yet but a little birdie (@berusaes) told me we still get content related to her in vol7...
