I'm not even kidding I almost cried 😭😭

I'll post more tomorrow about the episode but there's one thing I'd like to say:

I WAS RIGHT. I KNEW ZAROS' GRANDMOTHER WAS FALSELY EXECUTED. I MAY HAVE BEEN WRONG ABOUT EVERYTHING ELSE IN THAT THEORY BUT I WAS RIGHT ABOUT ONE THING.

Here's an excerpt of the theory I wrote in July last year:

"Let's just say my theory about the Earis and their grandfather being the same person is right. Both are quick to blame. In my understanding of the former Eminence he doesn't like the Atha'lin family and is quick to believe the baseless accusations and decides to execute Zaro's grandmother for her supposed crimes. But soon after they find the actual perpetrator. This explains why the entire incident was kept secret. Imagine the damage the Illves family's reputation would take if the rest of Serulla finds out the Eminence wrongly executed someone(regardless of whether they like the person or not). There would be whispers of mistrust and worry. They would worry about their safety being handled by a ruler who is quick to act without evidence or reason and the Illves family would lose their standing with the noble families."

Besides from that I genuinely don't think I'll be able to sleep I'll just go listen to it again.

My love letter to art

As 2025 comes to an end, and 2026 begins. I want to pour out my heart to the expression that has suffered the most this year. With the rise of AI artists and the normalisation of lack of soul in what is meant to be the embodiment of freedom of expression. I want to take sometime to appreciate part of the reason I got through 2025.

To be truly honest 2025 has not been the best year for me at all, and I didn't truly realise until the end of it nor did I realise what got me through it. Art. Art comforted me in ways that my friends and family couldn't. When I was stressed about exams the beautifully crafted world made by @zsakuva relaxed me. Instead of anxiously looping around what answers I would write for the next day, I instead happily looped around the intriguing and intricate plot he has written. Hanging onto every word.

When I couldn't sleep because of fear the fanfics written by @why-me-marti @chaoticstrangerkit @xanthuslover @litmot-archived and over again to try to reserve enough warmth to fall asleep to. It didn't matter the genre every word still filled my heart and allowed me to fall asleep with a smile on my face.

When I had no motivation and nothing to look forward to the art drawn and edits @ambr0siascupoftea @jinx-you-lose @boxkitkat reminded me that I still wanted to learn how to draw and to make better edits. They reminded me that I had goals and that I didn't want to live aimlessly.

After every episode I looked forward to seeing every thought, meme and theory provided by @ @alexah03 @faeskiss @kvrizeva @souvlia @neverendingviolin @des2dream all the crumpets. I'm glad and grateful to be apart of this wonderful community. I'm joyous that on that faithful day I was bored and clicked on the first episode of the Noble Trials because it introduced me to my life line. Thank you all crumpets for the community that you have built.

Music as always came to my rescue. It was because of ENHYPEN's music that I got through my last three years of high school and it was because of CORTIS' music that I was able to remember who I was after that, somehow along the way I had forgotten. Forgotten what I wanted, forgotten my goals and forgotten to live my life.

Even before 2025 I remember my high school years being filled with art and I feel as though I cannot end this post without mentioning @starglitterz and another blogger who I'm struggling to find who helped me with my paranoia and welcomed me into their communities with open arms as well as dispelling my anxieties. They are part of the reason I was able to start this blog.

As 2025 comes to an end, and 2026 begins. I thank you artists for your existance that colours this otherwise bleak world. For 2026 may you never lose your spark and imagination and if you do know that art will always be with you.

So I listened to Episode 8 and....

OMG ZAROS AND THE EARIS ARE IDIOTS IN LOVE like

"I know my opinion means nothing to you"

BRUH 🙄

Huh?? What else could it mean though 😞

Beside that I thoroughly enjoyed the episode. It was so cute and it made my heart full. I am so satisfied ❤️❤️.

Aaron's disappearance definitely confirms that he was apart of the Trial (shout out to the people who figured that out) because what other reason would be there be for him to leave. I suspect that he went back to relay what happened to the Trial judges.

On an unrelated note. For the reason that I don't like his vibes. I kinda am suspicious of Argil. I can't even tell you why, but I slightly dislike him. And I only started to dislike him after reading the website. He was probably the one to tell Queen Roena that the Earis won the first Trial. I might build on this in another post but we'll see

OH MY GOSH THE WEBSITE IS SO COOOL

I CAN'T WAIT TO GO THROUGH ALL OF IT ONCE I'M DONE STUDYING.

Around three things have been mentioned in abundance in the The Noble Trials series:

  1.   Joran Gazi 

  2.   The country of Callard 

  3.   Red tamalia 

I believe that all of these things are the most important to plot points in the story. I believe that Jordan Gazi is related to the Illian plotline and Red tamalia is related to the Earis' brother's plotline. I'm not exactly sure about Callard but I will investigate it further next time. 

Today I want to talk about Red tamalia. This flower has been mentioned three times. In Episode 2, 3 and 7. It has been said to have medicinal properties of being an anesthetic but too much of a red tamila heart will cause you to not wake up again. I feel it's also related to the Atha'lin family and the death of the Earis' brother.

What I think happened was the Earis' brother was poisoned using Red tamalia and the Atha'lin family was framed for it with the reason of their suspicion being because of their affinity for herbs and their medicinal properties as well as their commoner background. This is where my theory has no evidence and really doesn't make sense but please bear with me. The only reason Red tamilia could have been used as a poison was if it was made in excess as a tea. The only way someone could have administered it to the Earis' brother was if they were very close to him-Like a well trusted servant. What if Zaro's Grandmother was Queen Roena's lady in waiting/governess-just someone tasked with taking care of the Queen's children. So someone poisons the Queen's child and frames it on Zaro's grandmother.

Here is some evidence to support my theory:

In Episode 2 when Zaros relayed the facts about Red tamila to the Earis, when the Earis also where he learned it from he answers, “I learned it from my mother who learned from her mother.”

In Episode 2 when Zaros suggests that the garden in the palace should be open to the public, the Queen answers by saying "You know the palace is restricted to certain citizens." It could possibly be that the palace was closed off after the incident 

In Episode 1 Zaros says “ I won't deny that Queen Roena has done more for the poorest in Serulla than all the others before her. The history books paint them all in colourful bright ways, omitting the deeds done in darkness who they crushed to lift themselves up and how they shied away from accountability by pointing at the innocent."

That last part could definitely be foreshadowing the Eminence blaming Zaros' grandmother for the death of the Queen's first child. In Episode 2 as well Zaros tells the Earis that he knows the true story. 

It also leads me to wonder why Queen Roena won't tell the Earis about what happened. The Queen could easily chalk up the incident as another one of her father's mistakes. Yet another reason the Earis cannot take after their grandfather.

What if she was the first one to believe that Zaros' grandmother was the one behind her child's death. In one of my theories I talked about the Earis believing rumors from a well trusted source-Queen Roena. What if  it was the same here. The reason the former Eminence was so quick to execute Zaros' grandmother was because he trusted his source of information, which was Queen Roena. And because he was ultimately the one to order the execution Queen Roena tells the Earis it was his mistake-shying from accounting by pointing at the innocent like Zaros said. Zaros is shown to be the biggest foreshadower in the story shown in Episode 3 when he says “People bend the rules when eyes are on them and break them when eyes are not. “ this is proven to be true when after the first trial Queen Roena tells the Earis that they won the first trial. Because in the end Queen Roena is still the former Eminence's daughter and must follow some of his teachings (like in Episode 4 she says "A good ruler knows the boundaries they can work in. A great one knows how to play with them. That's how my father taught me." 

This is Queen Roena's biggest mistake. If the Earis finds out about what really happened Queen Roena will no longer be a trusted source for the Earis. The Earis will start to wonder what other things she has been wrong about. What other things she hid from the public. The Earis would start doubting Queen Roena and stop putting her on a pedestal as shown by the Earis’ defensiveness towards the Queen in Episode 3. Queen Roena would no longer be the person the Earis would want to become.

Ohhhhh that would be so interesting 🤭🤭🤭. Do you think Zaros would forfeit to help them?

I was thinking that during the middle of the duel Zaros hits the injured area (not on purpose) and Earis goes down. Obviously this is the time for Zaros to capitalize. Either he does and that causes some tension between him and Earis (it also sort of acts as his payback for Earis stealing his answer) or he doesn’t and everyone is confused and his mother is probably pissed.

I’d also say that with Zaros not capitalizing, it could lead to a confession. Y’know like Earis or Zaros’ mother pressing Zaros on why he didn’t capitalize and BOOM he breaks into confession

While I do like the potential angst of Zaros capitalizing on the Earis' injury I don't think he would. He's too honest for that and the Earis is finally being truthful. If he does that it'll just set them back. (I hope this doesn't happen but knowing how Saku loves his angst we can't cross it out 😭😭)

I pray the confession comes but I hope it doesn't come too soon, there's a lot of healing that needs to be done

I need the earis to teach adaron how to fight
