In honor of Jane Foster absence.
Seeing the new Thor teaser honestly just confirmed how I feel. I know a lot of people find it emotional because the child is his real-life daughter, but within the story it still makes no sense to me. The narrative leans so heavily on this child as Thor’s hope and motivation, and it feels forced rather than earned. At the end of Love & Thunder they tried to justify it by saying Jane asked him to take care of her, but Jane didn’t even have a real bond with that child, so the emotional weight just isn’t there. It feels like Taika once again chose a shortcut instead of properly developing Thor’s arc. For me, relying on that character to give meaning to Thor’s story is simply senseless. 😣🙄
About Thor The Dark World:
The other day, during my Thor marathon, I rewatched The Dark World and realized that, even though it's considered one of the most disliked Thor movies, for me it's actually one of the best in terms of Thor and Jane's storyline. While the overall plot may be a bit weak, they show so much to each other how they protect one another, how much they miss each other... I think their romantic arc is quite consistent.
On top of that, the production design in the film is, to me, one of the most beautiful visually. With this new perspective, I think it's moved up a notch in my personal ranking of all the Thor movies.

The ending we deserve.
This was back in Thor 1 in 2011. Jane had a working prototype bifrost in 2011.
That was seven years ago. That was before she had the money, recognition and resources to complete a fully functional one.

I'm not Lady Thor. My name is Mighty Thor! And if that's still too hard for you, you can call me Dr. Jane Foster.
Thor trying to be seductive with Jane is one of my favs.
