This whole mission was a pain in everyone’s asses since they had so many demons swarming this place—Yukio himself was trying to keep a calm head, but his demon side was kicking in and he just wanted to rip their throats out.

The glasses man stopped shooting when he heard his son screaming in agonying—eyes widen as his emotions took over as he ran quickly over to his oldest son’s side. Yukio froze when he heard the three words…

He couldn’t see?

"Ryuki…" he whisper, he was holding back anger, "What the hell happen?”

Hearing the steps of his father step to him made him growl from the demonic scent, but he stopped, his entire body trembling. "G-gas--!" Ryuki grit his teeth, his calloused hand reaching out to see if his father was close enough for touch.

His slender fingers curled around the sleeve of the brunette's coat in terror.

"A demon...it came out of nowhere and sprayed gas in my eyes and now I can't see...!" He didn't know if it was Satan's way of making him weak, but he didn't see how the King of Gehenna would see without his spawn having vision.

"Please, it fucking hurts...!"

God, he didn't know who would kill him more, Yuuno or Yukio. But, he couldn't help the shrill cry escape his pale lips. The demon stumbled, dropping his sword and he covered his eyes. Ryuki kept shrieking and screaming, his body curled over. Exorcists seemed to hear the purebred finally and he shook his head, his senses higher--especially his sensitive hearing. His flames encircled around as a barrier, not knowing who was coming. However, after hearing the cries of his allies his Ryuki's flames dimmed down and he shook his head again.

"Someone fucking help me!" He pleaded, his voice hoarse from the screaming he had done prior.

"I can't see!"

Headcanon: Ears To See

When older--around eighteen--Ryuki is in the need of glasses. This is only because his eyes were sprayed with gas during a mission. His eyes were flushed with the help of a few Doctors and he was in the need of pair for glasses. So, for a while he was using Yukio's glasses until they couldn't help anymore Now, he wears larger and thicker glasses to help him see. Throughout the day he wears contacts--since he can't wear them for too long, he only wears them for classes. During the night then, he takes them out and puts on his glasses so he can read, write, and be on his computer for work. If he leaves them in or as he often times falls asleep with them on, he has irritated, watery eyes and short-term blindness with the contacts still in and with them out (He'll call his parents or his brother, whichever comes first, really to help him get the contacts out).
