Inspired by the distillation process, Heatherwick Studio and GWP Architecture built two intertwining botanical glasshouses for Bombay Sapphire comprised of 893 individually shaped curved glass pieces. Photography by Iwan Baan.
A large circular mirror reflects a tree planted in the centre of this Osaka cafe by Japanese studio Ninkipen!
Last night I went to The Herb Garden in Newcastle for dinner. It had such a unique/quirky interior. Real herbs were been grown in cylinder tanks, an array of white paper lanterns hung from the ceiling at different levels and you were seated at long wooden bench tables with other customers. I also really liked the wine glass chandelier which hung over the bar.
The Tote by Serie Architects. Restaurant interior within the Mumbai Race Course. White metal pillars branch out and reach the ceiling, really cool way of slightly divided the big space.

Such an unusual but effective way of making a dull area exciting
More restaurant research- The Anthologist, Central London.
I really like the combination of colours, materials and textures which they have used within this interior. The layout of the restaurant is also quite unusal.
Restaurant research for a new project which involves me designing a complete new interior for a restaurant situated in Newcastle.
I love how unusual and quirky this restaurant looks and how the beautiful chandeliers explode out of the canopy of vines and leaves that cover the ceiling.
The Baltic, Newcastle. Images that I took of the interior of the restaurant on the sixth floor of the art centre called 'SIX'. I took these images for our new project at university which involves us re-designing the whole interior space of this particular restaurant.
The Baltic (exterior images), Newcastle. To me the Baltic art centre is a very 'stand out' building as you walk along the Quayside. Originally a Hovis flour mill; the building has a very industrial, raw essence about it, which I like a lot. They have used corten steel cladding around the entrance to the building which adds to the industrial vibe.
Tuesday 3rd February- I visited the Theatre Royal in Newcastle (a grade I listed building) for my Architectural Technologies module. The interior of the theatre is very grand; from the Italian marble which frames the stage to the intricate plaster work. I particularly liked the Edwardian, red velvet theatre chairs which were imported from Belgium, each chair has a gold plaque on it which has a name or quote engraved into it.
My final model, photograph, sketchbook and narrative for the Exhibition and Model Making Project. The inspiration for my model came from my word which I had to come up with to describe myself which was 'Grounded'. I researched house foundations and used it as a concept/inspiration for my concrete model.
Imam Mosque - Isfahan, Iran
The think the colours and patterns on the tiles and shapes of the doorways and windows used throughout this Mosque are beautiful.

I really like the layout of the furniture in this space and all the vibrant contrasting colours which they have used.
Image of a beer garden which was situated in a courtyard next to hostel I stayed at in Berlin. Beautiful lanterns and strings of lights were laced in-between the trees, it was very enchanting at night time.
Images of a beautiful spa town called Karlovy Vary which I visited this summer whilst interailling. The first image is of the Market Colonnade which had 3 natural springs inside, it is made from wood and built in a Swiss style. The second image is of the Park Colonnade made from cast iron, inside was snake spring. Both Colonnades were designed by the famous architects Ferdinand Fellner and Hermann Helmer.
