Bethany dreaded moving back today, she kept trying to reason out of doing it with her parents. They only lived less than 10 minutes from campus, she could move back any other day before classes started. The murders, not knowing who was next startled her. After they had left Bethany for good and dropped everything off, she found her way off campus. Sitting at Lake Lanier, her feet in the cold water, she began to ponder over whether or not what she told detectives was true. No, she never wanted to leave De Ayllon. No, she never wanted to leave Graceborough. But when was a want and when was it a need? When was she being reckless by not leaving? She sighed and was about to crack open a Diet Coke she had brought with her when she saw someone else, also wandering around the lake. She chose to make eye contact, reading from tips online said that if you looked an attacker in the eyes they would probably not attack because you could pick them out of a line up. And she yelled out to them, “If you want a Diet Coke, I have a few extra!”
