I’m still keeping that dream alive even though I’m currently struggling.
B.B (Before baby), it was quite impossible for me to gather a team and do a personal shoot but it was fine because I still can do self portraits. A.F (After Baby), it was very impossible for me to do self portraits but I had a lot of resources I can use when I transferred to Aj’s home and I think it’s easier to gather team for a personal shoot.
I have been conceptualising, looking for the perfect team that matches the visual I have in mind. Yes, I always wanted a well thought of shoot. The elements, the mood, the message.
You know, capturing a photo in these days are as easy as just hitting that shutter button, and it’s sad. It’s sad because photography has already been a money making machine. And most people think that we are cheap, but who do we blame? Ourselves. Because we let them.
Anyhoo, I just missed the time wherein we work hard to achieve a certain photo. We CREATE, and not just shoot.
Years from now and no matter what happens, I will still be a photographer. Might not be doing event, lifestyle or commissioned shoots, I’ll still be creating not for anyone but for myself and for my family.
