I wish I could meet all of the people in the world who are depressed because they had to give up their childhood dream. I'd hold their hand and tell them that it's okay, and that giving up isn't worth it.
Why did the government decide to double student loans? While I may not have any, I know that a few of my friends do, and so do many other college students.
I think it's horrible that many people have to give up education because of monetary issues. And that college kids nowadays have to worry more about money than they do about classes. It's just wrong to use our generation as a means to fund the mistakes of the generations above us.
My high school career was about getting into one of my first choices...which I did. And I decided not to attend because another college actually offered to pay for my education. Which I don't mind, since the college I currently attend was pretty high up on my list. But I can't imagine how many others don't have this choice - and have to sacrifice their future because they can't afford it.
I've heard a lot of older people say that with the right mindset, anyone can become successful. But that's not always the case.
Education shouldn't just be for the rich.
If there's one thing that life has taught me, it's this:
You only have yourself to count on.
How am I even alive right now. For every one step I take forward, life decides to punch me in the face and shove me ten steps back.
It really bothers me when someone decides to blame something on the President. For example, when someone who isn't looking for a job goes: "I can't get a job because the economy sucks. It's Obama's fault."
No, it's not.
It's not the President's fault you're a lazy ass.
This is what happens when white guys listen to Indian music
I feel like everywhere I go in class, everyone is a science major with a concentration in Pre-Med. And when we have an exam and there's a group of people saying how easy the exam was when I don't think the same, it makes me feel incredibly dumb. It's also extremely discouraging to me - like these are the people I compete with to get into a good medical school. If I think a basic cell biology exam is hard...then what am I gonna do later one?
THIS IS SO STUPID WHY AM I LAUGHING SO HARD
Bakerella - you are the perfect baker.
When I'm able to have my own dog, I'm gonna cuddle the hell out of that little furball
The Perks of Being a Wallflower comes out on Friday. And I might just watch it alone. Not because I don't have anyone else to watch it with, but because the book has such a special place in my heart. And if the person who I want to share it with the most can't come to the theater with me, then I'll just watch it myself. I'll be my own wallflower.
Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield. There is nothing cuter.
I'm so upset.
I screw everything up.
Dear Post Office,
I have something very important to me in the mail. Please don't lose it? :( I'm very impatient for it.
Love, Beverly
