I remember reading Persepolis way back in the 2000s - it was my first introduction to the Islamist revolution in Iran, and Marjane Satrapi instantly became one of my heroines. Her untimely passing is a dagger to the heart. May her memory be a blessing, and may all her loved ones find comfort in this time of grief 🖤
