Today is a good day.

I know but sometimes when I’m having a bad day, I just prefer to stay in my room alone. If I’m around anyone I might say or do stupid things. Last time I had a bad day and went out I ended up sleeping with Tommy so… yeah.

But sometimes it’s not up to us. We both have… issues. Different ones, but at the same time similar. But mine is worse than Quinn’s and I’m more likely to screw up things up than he is. And sometimes it doesn’t matter how badly we want our relationship to work. There’s something in between.

Yes, I know. And I am going to tell him. But he has been MIA and that’s why I haven’t told him. He’s probably away on vacation. I’ll tell him when he gets back.

But Bexie, just between us, I’m nervous. I’m only 18. Maybe we shouldn’t decide if we wanna get married now. What if we break up? Or get married and then one year later get divorced? I don’t wanna be divorced at 20.

I can’t tell you what to do, but here’s my advice. I don’t think you should be engaged right now Ade. You’ve only been going out for a couple of months, and while you may love each other, you never know. Just look at Jared. He said he loved me, and look where we are now. If you want to be engaged to him, be engaged. But please don’t get married for at least a few more years. You two need time to figure out who you are in the world.

But I’m already engaged. I can’t give the ring back, not only because I don’t want to, but also because it would hurt Quinn and it would be a good reason for him to break up with me. I just… I love him and I’m one hundred percent sure that he loves me too, but we aren’t exactly the most stable persons ever and sometimes we just… collide and have arguments and things get ugly. I’m just scared that if we have a long engagement I’m gonna do something to ruin this and then he won’t want to get married to me. But if we get married, I can still do something to ruin the marriage. Basically, I’m just afraid I’m gonna screw things up again.

Listen to me Ade. I am confidant that you and Quinn love each other, or I would have flipped some serious shit by now. Fighting is okay Ade, if you didn't fight at all, I would be worried. If something happens, and you and Quinn break up, it will be because this wasn't how it was meant to work out. I know that all of that destiny shit sounds like bullshit, but if it's really supposed to work out, and most of all, if you and Quinn want it to work out enough, the two of you will work together to make it work.
