hey guys, remember that 14k+ word klance masterpost? 

yeah, what’s up, i’m the dude who wrote that and now i’m here to present to you a whole new and improved masterpost that’s over 40,000 words long and it’s all just me talking about klance—recapping on seasons 1-2 + the comics along with analyzing what s3 gave us, discussing things that have been said in interviews and connecting it with what’s been presented to us in canon, debunking the possibility of keith and lance ending up with anyone else other than each other, analyzing keith and lance as individual characters in order to really understand some of their scenes and grasp the importance of their development, putting together all of the things that point to lance being LGBT, etc. 

this has been in the works for well over a month now and i’m soooo excited to finally share it with all of you! i did my best to make it organized and easy to follow, so i hope you all enjoy it. feel free to leave comments or hit me up on here if there’s anything you want to discuss about the masterpost/if you think there’s something i’m wrong about/if you feel there’s anything i should add! i absolutely love discussing these two and their ever evolving relationship.

yes, there’s nothing wrong with projecting yourself on characters because you like to see yourself in them, to know that you’re a person just like anyone else, just wired a little differently from what people expect. this is why people headcanon certain characters as bisexual, or autistic, or trans. these kinds of things only hurt you if you’re a bigot, because you’re saying people like this don’t deserve to be in media. but they do, just as much as anyone else.

when someone says “i headcanon this character as autistic because they display the same traits as me, an autistic man, and are treated with human decency and respect just like a normal person” and YOU’RE the one to say that that person is the one reducing the character? no, that’s on you. you don’t see these characters as people in the first place because they’re not modeled after you. that doesn’t make then any less than people. you’re ignorant of other types of people in this world that don’t conform to your standards of what a ‘normal’ person should be.

in reality, there is no ‘normal’ person. we’re all just….people. just because we’re wired different doesn’t make us not people, just….different.

To the people against autistic keith—what if the showrunners flat out confirmed in words that hes autistic? is that what it'll take for you to lay off? the fact that you're against autistic keith implies that you're against autistic people in general and that says a lot about your character. let people self project on their hero without assholes like you ruining it for them.
