Peter was in survey mode the moment word got out that a student had gone missing. He, along with a few other staff members begin the search to find the missing girl. After making his own children were safe, he began searching, looking for any clues as to what may had happen. When he heard someone yell he noticed it was Tony Stark, another one of the staff, and went over to where they were. âLook no one expected something like this to happen here but it did and now we have to get to work.â He said as the hero side of him came out. âI was following you, just making sure we didnât miss something here.â
Maybe it was age that played a factor into his reaction, but honestly, Tony would like to think it was âwisdomâ earned throughout the years. He wasnât as reckless as he once was. Okay, lie. He was just better at 'handlingâ it. But this should have been prevented. Superpowered or not, these were just kids and one of them was dead. So when he rolled his eyes to Quillâs explanation, he made no effort to hide it. âSo is that a no to the hand-holding then? Now Iâm hurt.â Tony quipped with a slight scoff in his voice. âThatâs not an excuse, Quill,â He continued. âThey are kids. Some of them are our kids.â Tony knew what he was doing. He was misplacing his frustration and taking it out on the closest person to him. Old habits really did die hard. âWhere were you when all of this was going on?"Â Thatâs when Tony Stark stopped in his tracks and turned on his heel.Â
