Part 2 of my sketchbook!
My dream is to become a children’s book illustrator, I’ve been thinking about making a book about a moth and it’s adventures for a while, this is a (unfinished) sketch of the kind of look I’d like the pages of my book to have. There’s a lot of room for improvement but regardless I’ll be posting more of my sketches for my book “Paulilla la polilla” (Paulilla the moth) in the future.
PS: I’m probably never making the book but one can dream I guess.
(Watercolours and an ink pen on paper)
please don’t give up, this is beautiful!

“It’s mortifying to be the one who remembers.”
— Ryan O’Connell
For now she need not think of anybody. She could be herself, by herself. And that was what now she often felt the need of - to think; well not even to think. To be silent; to be alone. All the being and the doing, expansive, glittering, vocal, evaporated; and one shrunk, with a sense of solemnity, to being oneself, a wedge-shaped core of darkness, something invisible to others.
Virginia Woolf, To the Lighthouse.
