Heatwave Festival 3: fun, competition, “there are no rules.”
U'nyashima isn't normally the competitive type, but he also isn't going to say no to a friendly test of strength with @trysta-rider's B'litzy.
Especially not when they're being cheered on by Altun and- wait- Adalberta? Wasn't B'litzy with Serendipity just recently? Is no guildmaster safe from his charms?
3 years after the calamity
A group of foreign dignitaries is visiting Kugane. Companionship for the evening has been arranged from the most exclusive pleasure houses of the city. Including a young man who will one day take the name Hattori Bunzo.
After that night, the two would not cross paths again until some years later in Rhalgr's Reach under altogether different circumstances. Bunzo was never quite clear on whether Zenos remembered him, or was just kinda... like that.

It has become a common sight across Etheirys, an adventurer and their trusty chocobo. It seems there are as many different personality types amongst chocobos as there are adventurers.
Some are quiet, and enjoy a good rest.
Some are helpful, and happy to serve.
And some enjoy having a bit of fun at their owner's expense.

Heatwave Festival week 2: water, swimming, “come on.”
A look back at a moment in the few weeks after U'nyashima and Altun met, but before they got swept up into being the Warriors of Light. Nyashima had been spending every waking hour trying to research any techniques that might help Altun find a cure for the disease that was ravaging the Kahkol tribe. Nyashima's mother suggested that the two youths take a day off to enjoy a trip to the beach as friends. Though it appears that at least one of them is already having other feelings.
Heatwave Festival: heatwave, melting, “it's too hot...”
Clare had a lot to learn about how to be a knight in her early days as an adventurer. One very important lesson was that heat can take a knight out of action just as easily as any adversary.
I'm sure a lot of us can relate to poor Clare in that tin can armor. I hope everyone is staying safe and cool.

The origins of U'nyashima Tia
A rumor has reached my ears from one @mimble-sparklepudding. Hopefully this can help set the record straight. It turns out there's always someone or other in need of rescuing, and when one holds herself to the knightly ideals that Clare does no call for help can go unanswered.
Well Mimble, my friend. I hope you can understand why it took me a little while to answer this. I had a lot of fun putting this together. Thanks for sparking the old creative process!

For anyone who is unaware of Tataru's books.
Also everything about the wind-up Erenville is lore accurate from the minion description in-game "A complementary companion to an illustrated encyclopedia, this automaton was commissioned by the Studium's publications department as part of a recruitment campaign for gleaners. Though designed in the likeness of Erenville, the man himself was not consulted on its creation on account of being afield at the time."
Also yes I did buy the artbook. No it wasn't JUST so I could get the Erenville minion. No I still haven't read the book. I will, ok! I totally will!

When your boyfriend is the warrior of light, and a personal friend of multiple heads of state, it is an inevitability that you will be forced on certain occasions to adapt to a style of dress that is counter to your preference. Fortunately for Erenville, he has two of Eorzea's most highly sought-after crafters to accomodate his particular (don't say fussy) requirements for such garments.
It was still a bit of a surprise for him to discover that Bunzo was quite so skilled in such a variety of arts. The much greater surprise was that Bunzo's "crafting bestie" is a dragon.

Though far from any place that any of them might normally consider home, there is still plenty of warmth and comfort to be had in sharing a song and dance at the end of a long day of travel.
