Osk has never been a fan of chocobos. They are loud and messy, and have far too much attitude for her liking.

But watching Robyn with her companion - a massive blue bird she was told was given to Robyn 'because they matched' - Osk started to understand why Eorzeans were so fond of their chosen mounts.

Or maybe it was just the way Bert so closely reminded her of his master, in many ways beyond the color of his feathers.

Whatever the case, there was now one chocobo Osk has begun to trust.

July 6 is my birthday, and I'd like to join the hoard of birthday requests!

If there's two things that I love, it's chocobos and playing dress up with my WoL. And so I humbly request that you dress your WoL to match a chocobo! Some possibilities could be:

Matching chocobo barding with your outfit

Dying an outfit to match your chocobo's color

Just complete chocobo cosplay. Embrace the inner horsebird!

Matching hats!

Matching accessories!

Matching poses or something idk, whatever is fun for you!

Vanilla or modded, canon lore or silly and OOC, any interpretation is welcome!

It has become a common sight across Etheirys, an adventurer and their trusty chocobo. It seems there are as many different personality types amongst chocobos as there are adventurers.

Some are quiet, and enjoy a good rest.

Some are helpful, and happy to serve.

And some enjoy having a bit of fun at their owner's expense.

I thought for your birthday prompt I'd go ahead and get both of my OCs and their trusty horsebirds involved!

First up is Altun, doing her daily care routine for her chocobo, Thrasher. They're both representing The Order of the Twin Adder in their resplendent Grand Company attire!

Luluka is taking her chocobro where no chocobro has gone before! Her and her chocobo, Longfellow, have donned their cosmosuits and are flying to the stars themselves and beyond!

Lord Haurchefant took it upon himself to change Ajisai Kawanami's perspective of the dreaded Eorzean horsebird by having her ride pillion until she was comfortable taking the reins. There was a slight misunderstanding wherein Ajisai believed 'Pillion' was the specific bird. By the time she learned otherwise, Pillion had become stubbornly attached to the name, refusing to answer to any other.

Weee ! A very horsebird birthday to my beloved friend @eidingate. I am so very grateful we are friends. I've really enjoyed getting to know you, learning all the Eidin lore, and seeing the amazing things you've done with gpose.
