Les Vues du Nord // I recently got back from traveling all over northern Montana and Canada with my dad. We didn’t do any crazy hikes or even sleep outside once, but we did see a lot of beautiful country from the windows of our rental car and via short and easy hikes. Views of the North.

Photo @coryrichards // Climber @adrianballinger returns to the relative comfort and safety of Everest’s North Col camp at just over 23,000 ft (7,000 m) after ascending to just over 25,000 ft (7,600 m). After spending three nights in the yellow tents seen at right, we descended back to Advanced Base Camp at 21,000 ft. (6,400 m) to recover and build more red blood cells before our next rotation.
ASK US QUESTIONS LIVE this morning at 9:15 a.m. EST about our current expedition, Everest in general, and our No Oxygen attempt as we do a Facebook Live Q&A on the National Geographic FB page. by natgeo
