we often times meet people who help us grow that also eventually go. and that is not because you are unworthy of their love or time; rather because just like you, this person needs to grow too. and, it’s honestly sad but sometimes, growing might entail leaving some people behind.
What I felt about Arsenal.
It’s been an emotional week. I wanted to share this encounter I had with a very hateful man on the Pittsburgh bus because it reminds me that there are brave people in this world. Let’s all do everything we can to stand up for each other.
Someone I knew is in a predicament, which I could not do much help.
I knew he wanted to vent out his frustration, but I kinda cut the conversation, and just told him my idea how to solve it, and not to think so much about being failures and those negative thoughts, because I don’t want him to turn up depressed.
When a few people, close and personal to me, died, passed away throughout my life,
after the prayers, the Fatihah, Yasin and tahlil.
I will pickup my acoustic guitar (gitar kapok) and play this endlessly to cope with the loss.
In this video, the minute 1:56 above is the beauty of this song. Actually I could not play that part as perfect as this fella, I improvised a bit to get the sound closest to it.
The feeling is what Chairil Ahmad said “Life is but postponement of defeats.”
.And after that, you got to rise and continue on with your life.

I read this, while sighing, looking at my Tumblr account.
“...An economic theory of a situation within a shared-resource system where individual users acting independently according to their own self-interest behave contrary to the common good of all users by depleting or spoiling that resource through their collective action”.
What destroyed Tumblr, in the end, is the numerous Tumblr’s pornography sites, and sometimes, these sites, acts like Net bot, liking other people’s legit Tumblr account, and eventually mine.
As time goes by, I found my Tumblr account and posts was being “liked” by these sites, and in the end,
I lost interest in posting in Tumblr.
It was so much better when nobody liked or reacted to my posts.
But when those pornography sites liked my page and my posts,
I feel ugly,
by association.
Arie Smit (Indonesian, born Netherlands, 1916-2016), Padi Fields, 1960s. Oil on canvas, 60 x 50 cm.

Trace your way back 50 years To the Glow of Dresden - blood and tears In the black above by the cruel searchlight Men will die and men will fight - yeah! Who shot who and who fired first? Dripping death to whet the blood thirst No radar lock on - skin and bone The bomber boys are going home [Chorus] Climb into the sky never wonder why - Tailgunner You're a Tailgunner Nail that Fokker kill that son, Gonna blow your guts out with my gun, The weather forecasts good for War Cologne and Frankfurt? have some more! Tail end Charlie in the boiling sky The Enola Gay was my last try Now that this Tailgunner's gone No more Bombers (just one big bomb)
Soothing song for this 22-24 September holiday in Malaysia.
If I should fall Act as though it never happened I will retreat And then go back to university
If I should fall Act as though it never happened I will retreat And sit inside so very quietly
ACTIONS AND WORDS
Dialogue : [Eve's room. House busts in.]
HOUSE: You gotta tell me what happened.
EVE: You don't really wanna hear.
HOUSE: [undoing her binds] Sure I do.
EVE: You're lying.
HOUSE: Doesn't have to destroy your life.
EVE: I know.
HOUSE: Doesn't mean anything about you. Wasn't your fault.
EVE: I know.
HOUSE: You did nothing wrong. Some jerk hurt you, that's all.
EVE: [sitting up] I know.
HOUSE: You're worried that you can never trust men again.
EVE: [shaking her head] No.
HOUSE: Statistically, there was always a chance this could happen. The fact that it did happen doesn't change anything. World doesn't suck anymore today than it did yesterday.
EVE: I know all that.
HOUSE: [no idea what to say] Then what do you want me to tell you?
EVE: Nothing. I just want to talk.
HOUSE: About nothing.
[She nods.]
HOUSE: We talk about nothing, nothing will change.
EVE: It might.
HOUSE: How?
EVE: Time. Time changes everything.
HOUSE: [trying to shrug it off] It's what people say. It's not true. Doing things changes things. Not doing things,... leaves things exactly as they were.
[She looks at him tearfully.]
