A Beautiful Flame
He was like a flame,
He lit up the darkest of rooms with the ice of his eyes,
His touch scorched my skin,
And my god I’ve never wanted to be burned so badly in my whole life.
He was like mid afternoon on a fall day,
The sun piercing through your long sleeves,
But the breeze making your hands go cold,
You felt like ice and fire all at the same time.
He was like a nightmare,
He makes you sweat and shake,
When you wake up and he’s gone you want more,
You fear the way he makes you feel,
But you put yourself back to sleep over and over again,
In the hopes that he will appear,
And make your skin turn to fire.
