This series is based on my double-rogue playthrough. Tav is an assassin rogue, chaotic neutral, chooses mostly good options but a ton of options just for the laughs or the money. Astarion remains unascended. Everyone shows up sooner or later, though main group includes Karlach and Shadowheart.

The Trap is Set: Two 8 strength rogues get stuck and need to wait for rescue; one of those rogues doesn't like being trapped underground

A very big TBD though, as I am a huge DAO/DA2 fan. Inquisition didn't really do it for me (sorry DAI fans!) and, as much as I love the Mass Effect series with all of my heart, the 3-person-party is a step back, I think. We'll see! I'll play no matter what, but I don't know if anything will live up to BG3 for a while.

Hopping onto a BG3 Tag Game ✨

Got tagged by the fantastic @floehie and couldn't resist a good excuse to talk about BG3 after having gone so long without ;0;

Favorite romance: The sassy, bloody, cat-like vampire of course.

Favorite class to play: Rogue, rogue, rogue. In BG3? Rogue. In D&D? Rogue. In Dragon Age, Elder Scrolls, insert-other-fantasy-rpg-here? Rogue. Give me stealth, give me duel-wielding blades, and give me a sneak attack/backstab bonus and I am a happy camper. c:

Favorite NPC: This is tough because there are a lot of NPCs I like for their growth and path throughout the game (Rolan, Barcus, Mayrina), others I like just because they're amazingly written (Ethel, Raphael, Orin), and others because I just love their design so much (Alfira, Dame Aylin, Volo). It's hard to pick a single favorite, but a character that I think has all three and I quite enjoy would be Zevlor. Something about a fallen Paladin that tugs at the heartstrings for me.

Favorite song off the soundtrack: Listen, I Want to Live made me cry when I first got to Act 3 and I don't care if it's a cliche answer, I'm sticking by it!

Tell us a little about your Tav: My main, "canon" Tav is Rogue!Tav, who is a character I've been using for years. First used them in a campaign for D&D almost ten years ago now and I have been using them in games ever since. They are a wood Elf Assassin Rogue who had an undisclosed tragic past and a tired-of-your-shit mentality. Their best stats are Dex, Cha and Wis, lowest stats are Str and Int, neutral Con.

I've shared this before, but their main traits on their character sheet are true to how I play them in games:

Personality: Stay calm, get shit done.

Ideal: Fuck authority.

Bond: I’ve lost people before. No more mistakes.

Flaw: I ignore plans.

Something you wish was in the game: I would love an Act 2 "hang out" like the Goblin Party or Withers' Party. It's all available in Moonrise too! Just a nice little cap to a harrowing journey.

Do you create fanworks? Share something with us: Oh yes. Too many and somehow not remotely enough. I haven't written in weeks (so sorry ;-; work will either end me or I will be free in a week or two), but before I took like a two month hiatus, I wrote ~260K words through 26 works of AstarionxTav fun over ~8 months. Ayressa Aedihle - Bardlock (College of Lore/The Arch Fey)

This song was a find from a few years ago, but it’s become Ayressa’s song because it’s what I imagine her voice to sound like. Haunting vocals echo through this song and while its lyrics aren’t hopeful, it does speak of a sort of eternal love.

I suppose it’s more appropriate for any iteration of Ayressa who loses Gale - either to the Orb or Sneaky!God syndrome but I still think that it has a place with Ayressa getting a happy ending.

I also imagine this as Aoide singing this to a willow tree and her friends/supporters sing along with her.

This song reminds me of Aoide because it kinda seems like her reminding herself what she knows and that she should follow her instinct. That she can finally embrace her grief after everything she lost and breathe again. That after everything the world is still beautiful and filled with life.

Voradras Adravo - Arcane Trickster Rogue

He's born and raised in the Underdark, in Menzoberranzan as second son of a noble House, so he spends the first nearly 50 years of his life in this lightless place. And for most of his life, his goal is to leave that place, to see the sun. To feel the wind on his face. And after he achieves it he can finally leave Menzo in his past and find a new home for himself. Its a reminder that things are going to be alright.

I got inspired by her songs while creating Vierith, this is one of the songs that makes me think of her. She fled from Menzobarranzan, she is now a hunter, a dancer in the night, a follower of Eilistraee. Her ways are chaotic but free. Even if she is haunted by her past she will never let the underdark take her away again.

Because she is a Battle Beer Bard her songs are Shots by LMFAO and Rasputin by Boney M., so I present you this wonderful remix.

This is the song playing while she is entering the taverns, she is a silly little bard despite all the Durge problems 🤭

Thisobald Thorm is her absolute best friend and she would have drunk with him the whole night and singing about her adventures with the Shots rhythm.

And because she won the drinking competition against bff Thiso, she inherited (more or less official and legal) the property deed of The Waning Moon. After defeating the Netherbrain she wants to settle down at Moonrise Towers to reopen the Waning Moon Distillery.

At datenight with Astarion she is playing Daylight (Alligatoah Version) very enthusiasmly. Because he loves sunlight and all, I think you get it 😉 It starts so romantically and than she can smash her lyra in metal style 😄
