Not what I had in mind, but I'm glad to hear it!
While drawing her in such vulnerable state, I was thinking of how the wight of the crown she once wore effortlessly, and then something inside her sort of broke, which lead to emotional instability, denial of the reality and emotional breakdown.
I kind of trusted the process while trying to depict this one!

I did.
I don't find it particularly appealing, since some characters were downgraded in their personalities to reinforce their character growth in a cheap and rushed way (e.g. Marinette suddenly being shy and Adrien being constantly emo).
I liked the improvement in animation, though.
